We ended up with an amazing experience. We rented unexpectedly when our other rental company failed us. They couldnt have been nicer. Even let us leave our luggage when we went for lunch in Florence. Gabriel in particular was so kind and made our family of 5’s life so much easier. We had been anxious renting due to mixed reviews but couldnt say enough about how responsive they were. Car was good too!
We arrived in Italy with my family for a vacation and chose YesYouRent in Florence for our car rental and it was an excellent experience, we really appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the team.
Highly recommended for anyone.
Our car's sun visor broke up during normal use when turning down. It was clearly an mechanical manufacturing defect. I reported this for the YES YOU RENT same day because it was also a safety thing. They didn't answer me. When I returned the car my card was charged 150 eur. I supposed that our "full cover incurance" from DISCOVERCARS will cover it. But it did not. I will never use or recommend these companies to anybody.

With regard to your report, we would like to clarify that upon return of the vehicle, the sun visor was found to be completely tampered with and broken, to the point that the car could no longer be used safely.
For safety reasons, we had to take the vehicle in for repairs, which resulted in a 3-day downtime. Despite this, no charge was applied for the vehicle’s unavailability, which would normally be expected in such cases.
The actual cost of the repair exceeded the amount charged, but we applied a reduced fee of €150 as a gesture of goodwill.
We remain available for any further clarification and can provide supporting documentation upon request.

I booked two cars here with my friends. The cars were not the ones we had booked and one car only had four seats instead of five. We were therefore unable to take the car. We were assured that our money would be refunded. Despite repeated requests, we never received our money back. Do not rent a car here!!!

Originally I was going to give this company a three star review. The car was fine and the initial service was also decent. However, the first problem was that where you collect the car from and where you return it is a completely different place.
We could collect from a street two minutes from our hotel, which was convenient. Want to return the car? Ah, now you need to take it to a parking garage across town, then get a metro back in, then walk back to the hotel. After a long day of driving, this added an extra 45-60 minutes to my journey and completely negated the convenience of renting a car. So glad I didn't have to do that with kids, it would have been a nightmare!
I've knocked two further stars off because, nearly six months later, the company sent me a stern email to say that I am subject to a penalty fine, with no further explanation of the reasons. They were not clear on why I had incurred a fine, nor why it had taken nearly half a year to contact me with this information. What a stressful occurrence.
I suspect I am not the first, nor last, person to have this questionable charge come out of the blue, so - in my personal opinion - if you want to have a relaxed holiday and not look back with regret, avoid using this company at all costs. You have been warned.
(I wonder how many of the positive recent reviews for this company will be changed to one-star in a few months...)

If a fine was applied, it is due to the behavior on the road and not the rental company’s responsibility.
