Absolutely, the worst i have 2 cameras one on each level. All you get is ad after ad they even put the x where it is near impossible to close out the ad after it goes on and on. I am selling the house then i will pack them away where they belong IN THE TRASH CAN!!!

The cameras and app used to be descent but recently the app is full of ads. Every couple of seconds a ad pops up making it impossible to see what’s going on in your house. You can’t talk to people at your house because ads keep popping up in the middle of your conversation. I highly recommend using a different camera system and app. This one is straight garbage now. I hope YI is getting plenty of money from those ads because they’re not getting any more money from me.

Rubbish app rubbish system, don’t buy. Had YI cameras a few years ago and they were great for the price and no obligation to have cloud services. But now since several software upgrades, cameras loosing connectivity and now endless useless adds and not being able to get to your camera without viewing adds first if you want to get frustrated then buy, otherwise leave well alone. I am throwing all mine out. YI you had a great camera, great product, what happened.

It's full of spam viruses biggest mistake ever, I'm so annoyed that I didn't check the reviews before purchasing.

Absolute rubbish company. As another review clearly states - full of useless ads and almost impossible to view your cameras unless you are on some form of payment package. Steer clear.

This app is required to use the wifi camera. There is a fee to see the feed or there are ads. You cannot see what's on your own camera unless you finish viewing the ad. This is crazy. I understand ads and the need but to delay my ability to see what's on my camera for an ad is unacceptable. I would not get the camera or this app again.

Camera doesn't work. Can't log into the app. Can't cancel my subscription because the email address they have provided doesn't work. This site is a scam I suggest you don't have anything to do with them

Worst camera ever Imagine someone breaking into your house and you open this app to see what's happening in front of your house, but first you have to watch ads and other crap before you see the camera, run away from this garbage, every other option is better than this garbage.0 Stars

Very annoying and aggressive advertising if you don't use the YI cloud service. I will be switching to a competitor soon.

Worst company ever. The camera keep going wrong and the support is what I can only describe as appalling. Think this company is based in China. It takes them over a week to reply to issues and when they do the advice is rubbish. I have 3 cameras and each of them have developed a fault and they gave me some instructions which failed and then simply closed the case. Be warned they are disgustingly poor and will be stopping my subscription.

Don’t buy this junk — it’s full of ads before you can even get to your camera, and you have to pay extra just to detect people. Total waste of money.

Do not buy these rubbish cameras they are useless for security, full of adverts, every 2 seconds absolutely the worse company to deal with. They just want you to sign up a subscription, not only that they keep going offline too! One star is one star too many. DO NOT BUY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Cant access cameras due to ads.

If I could give it zero Stars I would. All it does is show advertisements. It never shows your security footage. It is a Chinese scam, an absolute rip-off and it makes money on you by promoting all these ads. Don't waste your money!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. These are the worst cameras and customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. Please do yourself a favor and move onto the next company and ignore all the paid reviews from other companies. I can’t even begin to tell you how they have managed to tell me my subscription was needing to be renewed only to sign me up for two subscriptions and then refuse to give me my money back for one of them while all of this is happening. One camera is only in black-and-white and has no sound and instead of addressing the issue, they closed the issue. Now that I am paying for two subscriptions I have three cameras and one of them is not recording! So what am I paying for? The customer service is lacking. They will only respond and close the inquiries when they feel like it!

If you buy YI camera, you'll be driven mad by the adverts they send you all the time. I have thrown mine into rubbish bin.

I bought my first Yi cameras several years ago and with sd cards the setup was fantastic for remote security for work premises. The app WAS easy to use and worked well. As standard you got short incidents recorded to cloud. There was an option for fill cloud recordings but I was fine with sd card for 24/7 recordings that WAS easy to view. So I bought more for my house and recommended them to others. However, whilst the cameras themselves for the money are still great, the issue as in other reviews is the App is now borderline unusable now it features undefeatable ads you can't move on from, constant pop ups, no free short replays, advert sounds continue whilst watching camera footage. It's really not good anymore and the quite obviously a tactic to pay subs for ad-free app.
