I have been using YNAB for a year now and I basically like it. I like how it has shifted my thinking about money. I am still not completely comfortable with using it, though. I still sometimes don't quite understand how the software is handling credit cards. I will just keep learning and stick with it.

Easy to use and very flexible. Tracks short- and long-term commitments, with a “ready to assign” category showing dollars left to spend elsewhere (reduce debt, add to retirement funds, have more fun, etc.). Account integration through Plaid is generally seamless. With this app, I feel much more confident about spending.

YNAB is a great tool that has helped my better control my flow of money. My favorite feature is you can set goals for those big, once a year expenses and actually split it up over twelve months and save up.

Ynab is a great product for budgeting and saving money

Like it just still have problems with the way is spend. I make all my transactions on credit cards and pay them off monthly. I’ve watched the videos but still confused.

I love the customization options and the fact that it stays streamlined and simple. It's easy to track our regular expenses and also our long-term goals.

Excellent budgeting app - it has all the features I want transitioning from a complex spreadsheet I'd been using for many years, but it also works for my wife just learning to run a budget.

Great budgeting app, a little pricey though.

I love how this app helps you to see where your money is going and how it helps you to plan and prepare for the future. I have only used it for a year, but during that time I have seen an increase in my savings even while having lost a months pay due to job action in my field of work. I eagerly share about this app any time someone mentions finances as it is a clear way to get ahead and comfortable in life.

YNAB has helped my wife and I be on the same page about our spending, eliminating conflict over money. It’s also helping us reach our financial goals, including saving for a house, school, and some awesome trips we’ve wanted to go on. It’s so helpful!

Using YNAB, I managed to organize my expenses and am on my way to stop living paycheck to paycheck.

Easy to use I have certainly saved money

Using YNAB the past year has allowed me give each dollar a job and plan for any surprises. I don’t stress about little purchases anymore

Talking about any app being "life changing" is a bit eye roll inducing, but it's the nature of the app that makes it true in this case. For a reasonable cost and time investment to learn how it works and set things up, you get a complete understanding of every dollar coming in and going out.

What that means might be different for everyone in terms of their spending, but it gives you back financial control and that impact goes well beyond what a normal app can do.

Maybe a different method will work for you, but the YNAB approach clicked for me after 2-3 months and since then it's very little effort for a lot of peace of mind. The app and web dashboard are well designed and mostly intuitive. And when something doesn't make sense, there's a ton of great learning material, including from the YNAB team.

Easy to maneuver, start understanding better and better.

YNAB helps me track all of my spending and never be surprised by a big credit card bill. I am always ready to at the beginning of the month to assign all of my money and know how much will be left over to have fun with.

App has been fantastic for budgeting and being able to take more control of our finances
