My parcel was delivered on time by a very helpful pleasant man

I assumed they would still be just as useless and I am at least pleased to learn that I was correct.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Nobody has any idea what's happened to my delivery. Tracking says it's been at the warehouse twice, been on the road twice and out for delivery twice, then it's back at the warehouse. Lied to and told it's on the drivers vehicle and arriving today for definite and to keep an eye on the app, which hasn't sent any updates.
8 days on, nobody knows where my delivery is and I can't get a refund from Amazon yet as they want me to wait another 5 days to give Yodel yet more time to mess me around.
What a way to treat your customers, do better!
Yodel dump and run Yodel
Yodel- apparently left in a safe place..a porch. We have no porch- the package was left by the front door and photographed- it would have gone through the letterbox- he didnt ring - we were in. Useless service. I hate stuff being delivered by Yodel.
My university books were binned
I was never given a card to notify me that my university books have been delivered on the 19 September 2026. The safe place they used was behind a filthy wheelie bin on the ground not far along (half a meter away) from a rat bait/poison black box. I only discovered that my books had been left there when I enquired through my university. I was in tears because my university has already started and I still don’t have my reading materials and my son is getting major spinal surgery next week and I have to stay in Edinburgh for seven days for it. I’m in Glasgow. Nobody seemed to take me seriously and i had to explain three times what my grievance was. It’s completely UNACCEPTABLE behaviour of the delivery driver who placed my package in an unsanitary, dirty, rat infested bin area for over a week and didn’t bother to notify me in the first instance. I had no card, no text message and no way of knowing it was there. I have notified the moderator of the university and warned over a thousand students about this issue. Yodel do not care and the complaint will not be resolved. The customer service is appalling and if you have had a good experience then you are the minority of those who were lucky enough to not have the same negative experience so many have with Yodel.
Tracking message received yesterday…
Tracking message received yesterday 29th september at 22.28 Amazon delivery.
"Delivery attempted today at 1.20am
Unfortunately YODEL wasn't able to complete your delivery and needs additional information to try again."
This is crazy
Firstly I was in the house all day -(assuming they really meant 1.20pm I was asleep at 1.20am.)
Secondly my item is tracked as on hold in Hatfield depot and my address is in Scotland!
I have tried contacting Yodel as instructed -phone number provided by amazon does not work
-live chat no real help either - customer service took no additional information - still no idea whether my item will ever arrive.
Tracking is also not working.
Does it look like a statistics scam?
Does it look like a statistics scam I wonder? Who delivers to a residential property at 01:20am? Contacted Yodel as requested to be given a different story with no additional info required.
203-1693025-6122701 amazon order
Delivery on hold
Delivery attempted today at 1:20 am
Unfortunately, YODEL wasn't able to complete your delivery and needs additional information to try again. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.
Avoid Yodel for business deliveries – they will cost you money
We run an e-commerce business and have been using Yodel for our UK deliveries for several months. The number of “delivered but not received” cases we’ve had is staggering. Their so-called proof of delivery is often useless: blurry photos, no GPS, parcels left next to bins or at the wrong address, and signatures from people who aren’t our customers.
We’ve been forced to refund and replace countless orders, costing us tens of thousands of pounds. When we tried to raise this with Yodel, they simply denied responsibility and kept hiding behind their own invalid PODs. If you’re a business relying on Yodel, be prepared for significant financial losses and zero accountability.
Avoid.
Appalling service - parcel never arrived
I was expecting a parcel containing gummies that I had ordered for my son. InPost failed to deliver the original parcel, so the retailer kindly sent a replacement. Incredibly, InPost have now failed to deliver that one as well.
On both occasions, I received nothing.
I was told that an attempt had supposedly been made to deliver my parcel and that I had been emailed about it. The problem is that I work from home. Nobody knocked on my door, nobody rang the bell, and there is nothing on my Ring doorbell showing any attempted delivery.
So where exactly were these supposed delivery attempts?
After the first parcel disappeared into the delivery system, the retailer sent another one – and exactly the same thing has happened again. Two parcels entrusted to InPost and neither has reached my door.
I also contacted customer services/head office and found them to be very little help. I am now left trying to sort out a problem that I did not create, involving two parcels that were supposedly being delivered to my home but never arrived.
One failed delivery might be unfortunate. For exactly the same thing to happen twice is completely unacceptable.
I have no idea what has happened to these parcels, but I do know that they have not been delivered to me and that the claimed delivery attempt does not correspond with what happened at my home.
Based on my experience, I have absolutely no confidence in InPost whatsoever. Disgraceful service.

Horrendous Service Firstly got a message saying they had attempted to deliver my parcel - This is wrong - I was in the house and there was no delivery and in addition I checked my CCTV camera as back up - no delivery Where is my parcel please ?
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless.
Was supposed to deliver my parcel on the 26th. Had a delivery slot and everything. Nothing. Had to chase customer service, they said they will try to deliver on the 28th. Spoke again midday with customer service on the 28th, they again confirmed it should get delivered. (however my tracking was not being updated since the 26th) ... Nothing.
Extremely unreliable.
Abysmal conduct broadband hub from…
Abysmal conduct broadband hub from onestream broadband supposed to arrive on Saturday I cancelled important commitments to be present never arrived then was told again item would arrive yesterday still no sign of the product no way to contact Yodel to talk to an actual person the engineer from one stream came here few moments ago and he's been unable to set things up I have cancelled two important hospital appointments and Dr appointment this is disgraceful conduct
Seller sent by 48hr courier and it got…
Seller sent by 48hr courier and it got to my local inpost/yodel wearhouse in them 2 days but then sat for full 5 days waiting for delivery. Customer service useless who hide behind a chat bot that tells you what you already know and nothing more. Eventually you might get through to a person who will keep you on the line for 10 min only to tell you its at the local warehouse waiting to be taken out for delivery (same as what it tells you on tracking). Ask them when that is because its supposedly 48hr service and told dont know when. If company cant cope with its customer levels it shouldnt be advertising and charging extra for 48hr service.. false advertising! Last 12 months iv had 5 orders go through yodel/ inpost and had issues with 4 out of 5. Company has no intention of fixing its incompatant service as the issues have been known for years and got 0% better. Then to put cherry in top delivery 2 hr time slot was over an hr late. If you're lucky enough to see yodel on delivery service before purchase id recomend buying elswhere even if it cost more .
On hold at the depot why
Waiting for a package to arrive said it was on hold in the depot said to get in touch trying to get in touch with a human is almost impossible got in touch with the seller he said can't do anything until Monday as customer service is closed the weekend if I am going to buy anything online if yodel is the delivery company then forget it easier getting blood from a stone
Parcel left in public space
Parcel left in public space where anyone could pick it up and steal it.
I tried to complain but without the sellers phone number they will not talk to you.
Sellers; please do not use this useless company!
Awful Delivery
Awful, disgusting service.
The delivery driver did not even attempt to knock on the door and instead left the package at another house.
The house the driver left the package at is one that is stated on the delivery preferences to AVOID and never ever give the parcel to - for good reason as they are the most evil, degenerate “people” I have come across in my entire life.
Horrible, horrible service and I hope no other company I order from chooses “Yodel by InPost” as they hire the worst of the worst who can’t read door numbers.
Parcel undelivered multiple times
Parcel undelivered multiple times, the retailer I bought my item from also useless fobbing me off to Yodel. They say they can't find my address, I've given them the full postal address, the what three words location and all I'm getting is standard fob off generic emails. Nearly as bad as evri and they are very bad!
Abysmal service
Abysmal service, constantly advised they attempted delivery yet never showed up once. Contacted there support and asked for there driver to be given my phone number to call when they where trying to deliver, zero phone calls. Support more interested in pushing for you to complete there survey. Avoid using these cretins, they either can't be arsed or are so incapable of finding a postcode that only has about 20 addresses in it that are all on a major arterial route.
Don't use Yodel - they've merged with InPost
My parcel has been in Mitcham hub for five days. The the driver couldn't find an easy address -but didn't think to call the mobile number on the order, then their agents proved they didn't care - I have screenshots of their disregard, then they promised to call us to sort it - still waiting 24 hours later, and now 28 hours after the 'delivery window' of yesterday we are still without our parcel. We tried to make it easy by selecting a locker (instead of our address) because InPost told me today that some of their drivers are unfamiliar with the territory....!!!!! A) you admit that? B) Heard of satnav C) Driver could have called the recipient. Total disaster. Customer service 0/10...
Stupid worst delivery ever
Stupid worst delivery ever
Says posted through letter box which is a lie driveway camera shows no footage of the delivery driver at the time of so called posted
Told aliexpress to avoid in post yodel
Been using EBAY for selling
Been using EBAY for selling, no issues unless I use InPost (Yodel), recently received a negative review due to dinner set badly damaged (20 Items) out of 52. Fragile tape covered the entire package, no problems with Royal Mail or EVRI, avoid using YODEL!
Also multiple failed pick up of Perfect Draft kegs (3rd time lucky achieved finally) - rubbish service
