Yoga Healing Glasgow's was founded by Anthea Simpson in 2005, who qualified as a yoga teacher in 2004, and has been home to many well renowned yoga teachers over 20 years. Since 2025, Anthea is now teaching solely at the school of Yoga Healing Glasgow and you can join Anthea for All Levels Mindfulness Yoga Courses, as well as 1:1 yoga lessons at Partickhill Bowling Club in Hyndland, in the west-end of Glasgow. Prior to becoming a yoga teacher, Anthea was an Holistic Therapist since 1991, and with her knowledge in Anatomy and Physiology and different styles of Yoga you will find they all support the depths and varieties of her teaching. In 2022 Anthea qualified as a Certified Yoga Therapist and a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher with a Counselling Skills Certification, which supports her working within a therapeutic field with clients on a one to one bases. Anthea now divides her working life between Yoga and within a Perinatal Counselling Service in Glasgow, and when not working you can find Anthea curled up with a book, on her yoga mat, or with friends and family close to home or at the beach or on the hills of Scotland.
