First rule on buying shoes:”You have to try them uphill and downhill if your toes are not straight as a ruler!
Hi,
My name is Eleni Maleviti. I live West of Athens, in Greece.
Trustpilot asked me to tell my experience about something I bought recently.
I finally remembered this lovely brand name with the Easter paper “lady”bug,
I love so much as their trade mark.
So, it is not the first item I have bought a pair of shoes and they were manufactured by this Spanish brand!
This time, I bought a pair of shoes size 39. There was also a pair of black shoes, size 40, as well available, but the sales lady insisted to choose the 39.
What happened when I tried them on the first time and walked to my near by pharmacy downhill. It rubbed the knuckles of my feet’ toes and turned red when returned home on foot. I wore thick cotton socks, cause I know my problem, so I needed to protect my toes.
Although, it is the right size for me, it is not wise to walk on them, but only on a road which is levelled. I have toes that have curved phalanges, thus I now have to make them a little bit wider and on the upper front of my pair of shoes; by taking them to a shoe maker’s shop.
I will use them only to stand on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and when I have to dressed up and go somewhere only by car. I won’t dance! I am a housewife for 26 years and weigh 105 kg. And stay on my two feet many hours inside my house.
Their leather is very smooth and soft and the black sole underneath is like a truckter’s and so these shoes do not slip.
I have to wear 3cm high shoes only.
Colour: off red(dark), like a roof’s tile!
And this pair has a rubber black cord resembling a pair of snickers.
Price: able to have my husband pay for them.
Purchase?
From my local shoe shop in my town’s mall(a tiny one).
A mental note: I have to search their web site.
I haven’t done that till now. I simply trust their brand as a reliable one.
That’ s my point of view about Yokono.es products.
A suggestion to the company’s ears and eyes!
After sales service is a must nowadays!
And, about your company’s return policy: if a pair of shoes bought via your site, by a new or old customer(especially the new ones) do not fit the customer, who is always right, as my boss had told me when I worked as a saleswoman in 1986 to a shop in Athens selling women’s clothes and shoes, it shouldn’t be a burden to you and it could be easy-breezy for all your customers.
An unhappy customer makes 100 others to rethink of buying from your firm!
But, a happy customer can influence only ten(10) brave ones to enter your site and buy from you!
And as my late grandpa used to say: it is better to have 10 friends than 1000 drachmas!
Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous and wise New Year in 2024.
All the best,
Eleni Maleviti
P.S. A suggestion towards Trustpilot!
It’s a long shot, but would it be good (or bad; you have to be the judge of it), to install what it appears whenever I want to send an email; a camera? Thus, by shooting a photo I can show the item purchased and as People in China say: a picture is worth a thousand words!
Or, as another thought emerged in my mind just now, the photo sent to you accompanied by my review to be available, but not in plain site. It can be opened to view it, only to those who wish to see for themselves my new nice pair of shoes!
It has just crossed my mind, this exact moment and I wrote my thought down, cause I couldn’t remember till this very moment, the exact name of the insect, and it has just crossed my mind this instant: yokono.es has a label with a huge paper lady bug(red with black spots), compared to the tiny size of a living lady bug!
As a child my mom had taught me a child’s song to say aloud, ones a lady bug was coming on my hand: “ if you are a friend stay, if you are not, go away!” And sometimes the lady bug stayed and other times it fled away towards vast nature’s habitat; on to the spring’s new flowers! Bye!
Thank you for all who took the time to read my review. :-)
