Lovely park well maintain and lots for doggies to play , especially the sandpit

This is such a great place to bring your dog. We go to the socialsation sessions on Saturday mornings for small to medium dogs and our cocker spaniel absolutely loves it. We've been going since January last year and try to go every week. Laura and Becca are lovely people who are always on hand to help with anything you need. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I love this place. I was looking after 2 dogs who I was unable to exercise well on the lead. I had walked passed York Dog Park on many occasions so decided to give it a try. Booking is very easy and I really like that you have sole use of the facility with your own code to get in and out. The field is ample size for exercising any dog, has a doggy assault course, a lovely hut for sitting in with lots of doggy toys and some dog biscuits. Outside the hut, there is a hard standing for your car, water facilities and dog bowls. Poo bags are even provided along with a disposal bin. The staff are also so friendly and lovely. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to have another dog so I can go again!!

Superb dog park, extremely secure and really well looked after. There are lots of things for the dogs to play with and it's extremely clean too. We love it.

I took my bundle off trouble to attend training classes held at YDP. It is a fabulous venue not only for the great training sessions they hold regularly, but as a fantastic park for your dogs to go, run free and play. No matter how much rain we've had the park is never a muddy mess, and it is always well cared for and clean. I've at least 4 other dog parks nearer to me but I will always use York Dog Park.

Plenty of scheduled activities and the ability to book the space. We attended beginner puppy classes and Ralph (our 4 month old labradoodle) has really enjoyed them! Thank you!

Perfect place to let your dogs run free in a secure area. We are attending the puppy socialisation sessions and can highly recommend. We are also attending the classes run by Will on a Sunday morning and again, highly recommend. The people who run the park are lovely and I would say that this place is a hidden gem.

Great lessons and advice from Will Smart during our 4-week Puppy Training classes at York Dog Park! We can't believe the difference just four sessions (with lots of practice in between) made to the behaviour of our Irish Terrier pup, Rocky. Whilst we've more to do, we're making good progress and developing a stronger connection with our dog. The dog park itself is a great open space amidst fields on the edge of York. Very easy to get to as it's so close to the ring road.

What a great set up. We have recently adopted a second dog from Serbia. She is terrified of the lead and harness. This was an ideal space for her to run about with our other dog.

Brilliant space and safe for both human and dogs plenty to do will certainly be going back in thenear future

York Dog Park is a nice, clean and safe environment for your dog to play in. There's plenty of agility equipment if your dog likes that kind of thing, a sandpit to dig in and a small summer house & water source plus plenty of running room for zoomies. It's well set up and secure with a gate code where you can drive your car into the paddock. There are horses in the surrounding fields so if your dog is not keen, it might not be appropriate for you but we travel to this place for a treat as it's a little out of our area and our dog loves it!

Efficient service from booking to sending the codes to get in.
I have limited mobility it is easy to use, completely secure and the dogs love it.

This training session hits all the right spots. You learn what to do with your dog as well as how you should approach things they do and why. Sometimes just looking at something in a slightly different way makes an enormous difference.

An added bonus was that all the dogs got to have a play while we had a coffee break. It was great for them to let off steam and have fun while they were learning.

Attended the Recall Masterclass with my 10mth dog, we both really enjoyed it and came away with some exercises to continue at home. Will was really good and clear with his direction, tweaking to individual dog needs when required. Laura and Becca where great hosts and the park is really clean, dry and well maintained. Would recommend both the dog park and Will as a trainer… thanks all 😁

We have attended 3 courses at the park now, socialisation groups and hired the park for private use. Lauren and Becca are amazing! Always there to help and assist. We have attended classes in torrential rain and the park has never flooded or being boggy! The new equipment in the park is a great addition. The setting of the park is beautiful....surrounded by lovely horses. It really is a lovely place to take your doggies. Mine love it! Thank you Becca and Laura for being the amazing hosts that you are and providing an amazing space for the dogs.

We love bringing out dog to the Dog park, its always clean and well kept, and we have so much fun. The agility equipment is great, and our 1 yr old Labrador dog is slowly trying out more each time we go.

We run training at sessions at York Dog Park and having spent many hours there I have to say it is simply the best place to exercise dogs.

The land is so free draining that there’s never so much as a puddle even during and after heavy rain.

The team that run the park are often there filling in dog dug holes and picking up missed dog poo, which makes the environment so much nicer than many other dog parks I’ve used.

Can’t recommend York Dog Park highly enough!!

Love visiting York Dog Park. I first used it for the puppy classes and found them to be wonderfully helpful, friendly and really made a difference to the relationship with my dogs. I now love using it for a safe place for a run-around and it’s always clean and no puddles!
