The box of culinary magic arrived on time. Everything was brilliant packed and labelled. The instruction cards were absolutely clear and easy to follow. We opted for the vegetarian box and it was so good. I think the rocket risotto was the stand out course but the starter and dessert came an equal close second. The whole experience made for a relaxing day with top notch food for very little effort. Highly recommended.

I purchased a Fried Hokkien Noodles with Chicken for $15 from my local IGA and micro'd it as instructed. I have before me a dry, vaguely spiced pile of noodles with some carrots, 2 floreats of cauliflower and one sad piece of chicken. Tick that box. Oh, and sliver of cabbage and a piece of spinach.
Tasteless rip-off.

The delightful meal from You be Chef was truly top-notch. The eco-friendly packaging and prompt delivery were commendable. Instructions, both physical and online, were straightforward and invaluable. The food itself was superb—exceptional flavors, creatively designed, and far beyond my home-cooking abilities. A true indulgence!

We have had many You Be Chef faultless deliveries and we thought it was about time we wrote a review. The deliveries are not only well packed but we love the care taken to make everything recyclable. The instructions are clear and preparation is usually straightforward. The food is of the highest quality and the attention to detail remarkable. The crab and sweetcorn bisque we had as our last starter was packed full of flavour. The main was a fabulous beef dish and the dessert a chocolate delice. We always have a great bottle of wine to accompany the meal and spend time to enjoy the whole experience.

Just had a youbechef meal that was not only delicious but easy to cook and a good price. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend youbechef.

Easy to prepare, delicious flavours and fun to explore trying something new. The lamb was a highlight. As was the game terrine. And the apple tarte fine. And the chocolate delice!

Absolutely delicious Tomahawk steak bbq box - simple and easy instructions to follow and we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at home. Perfect for summer weekends. We would definitely have another You Be Chef dinner delivered.

You be Chef is such a great idea and the reality exceeds expectations as the instructions are clear and very easy to follow. It means even a complete kitchen numpty like myself can serve up a delicious meal that’s a feast for the eyes as well as the belly. Simply Wonderful.

Thank you for the fabulous meal Robert and Ed! We had the vegetarian menu, was fresh, simple and very tasty. Like other reviewers, we have tried many home delivery services, and this is one of the easiest to assemble, and also one of the best tasting. And less washing up! Cannot wait to order again.

Everything about the wonderful dinner from You be Chef was first class. The delivery and packaging were excellent and as green as could be. The instructions both in the booklet and on line were clear and helpful. And the actual food was absolutely amazing- fantastic flavours, imaginatively conceived and in a different class from anything I could produce at home. A real treat!

Great choice of food

You just have to try this food, it’s Michelin star quality, it’s fantastically made with love put into every dish, it’s excellent value, you can make the dishes up with the videos, the top chef Robert, and make them look special with your loved one.
If you have it delivered on a Friday it’s Free, all the packaging are all environmentally friendly, including the Eco paper, which you place food on to cook. The portions are very generous, and it’s not the same dishes month to month, so if your not sure what to have one weekend, where it is all prepared for you, or there is a special occasions, then this is the way to go. All the U be chefs are very accommodating if there is something you prefer, from one of the other menus, like the pudding, add to the notes,

One of the few benefits of Covid was finding You Be Chef restaurant quality home deliveries. We order on a regular basis, whenever menus are available. The food comes securely and very well packaged with adequate ice bags to keep it fresh. The quality is uniformly excellent as you would hope from a Michelin starred chef, but also in decent sized portions unlike some others. Menus are varied and inventive. There is an approx. 6 minute video to connect to with clear cooking and plating instructions, and clear written instructions as well. Almost everything is recyclable and the clever use of well labelled containers means there is minimal washing up.

During lockdown we ordered a few times from You Be Chef and they were all excellent meals.
Received an email about the March 23 offering.
As always it arrived perfectly packaged with simple to follow instructions. The menu was well balanced and the food delicious.

It seems unusual to post another review of the same company, but the quality of our latest meal really demands that I do. Since the pandemic we have used delivered meals from many sources, (Rick Stein, Simon Rogan, Tommy Banks, Michel Roux jr, and several others) and being 80 years old and enjoying really good food we were delighted to see that Robert had a delivered product. We first met Robert 7 years ago while on holiday on the Isle of Wight, and liked his restaurant.

The meal delivered this weekend was outstanding and drew envious comments from our daughters when we shared photographs. I cannot recommend YBC more highly
