I had a very positive experience with YouFibre Customer Services, especially with Asanda. She was professional, patient, and very helpful in dealing with my request. She listened carefully, understood the issue, and helped me get the updated final bill I needed.

Crumbleq provided an excellent service, he was polite, friendly, extremely clean and it was installed professionally, answered all questions and provided useful information with no issues, lovely man pleasure to meet him so far everything is working great

Simon texted me the day before to tell me what time he was arriving and on the day he arrived on the time he said. Very professional he explained what was going to happen with the insulation. He explained what would happen when installed was done. What a top guy he is and nice speaking about his early days. No complaints

Youfibre, lack of service and concern

I can not give it a zero star. Our appointment was booked for a time giving them a two week lead time. I made it clear that the porting of the telephone number was of the utmost importance and was told due to the lead time given that the number would move the day of install. If not we would be given a temporary number until it did move. The install happened on the 30th of April in the morning. Needless to say the number was NOT ported and I have just been billed a second month for a service I do not even have. Several emails have been bounced to them about it and still no phone service. They do not seem that bothered about it either, it is always me contacting them to try and get updates. I was promised a review of the service not supplied, which clearly has not happened either as they have just billed me for another month. DO NOT TOUCH THEM!!!!! this is the worst service, if you can even call it that, out of all the internet providers.

Company happy to leave you without internet for weeks!

DO NOT go with this broadband company. We signed up with Brsk who were excellent. They have since merged with YouFibre. We phoned up this week as our internet dropped. The lady we spoke to reset the box on the wall and said we shouldn't have any more issues. 30 minutes later I was back on the phone - internet had dropped again. Spoke to another lady who said it was showing we had internet and would have to reset the box on the wall. Internet came back on and she said we shouldn't have any more issues. 30 minutes later, back on the phone. Third lady hadn't got a clue and booked an engineer to come out. In a week's time! I told her it was unacceptable to leave us without internet for a week, especially as my partner works from home, she apologised but booked us in for a week anyway as it was the first appointment they had. Two days later, I receive an email saying the engineer visit has been cancelled, it was booked into the "incorrect calendar" and the new appointment is now two weeks away! Completely unacceptable, but of course, I have received no response to both my emails stating as much! Disgusting!

Customer service useless

Up until today, I thought what a great company! Installation booked in between 8am and 1pm, emails telling me exactly what pre work was to be done and when... looking very good!

Then, no engineer.... I contacted Customer services which are very hit and miss. They took 3.5 hours to tell me that i was still booked in and installation was going to be today.

I raised a ticket to find out what was happening, for which i received an email within 30 minutes. I was told that the installation was to be referred to a remediation team and I would be informed of anything as soon as they knew.

Another couple of hours, still no engineer, still no update. I replied to the customer service email, saying how unhappy I was, and asking for £25 compensation for the wasted day (this is the amount YouFibre charge if you miss your engineer and its your fault). 4 hours later, no response.

I raised another ticket, no response....

I used the chat feature, still waiting for a response. Total silence from the customer service people.

Checking my account, it just says install issue, completion date TBC.

No explanations, no reasons, nothing.

Regretting going for this company, but still have 3 days to cancel...

31/05/2026... Update

After a day waiting, I was told two things, 1) I could have an install next Saturday and 2) that there is a blockage which will be cleared on 05/06/2026, and as such no actions can be expedited until then. The case is now shut!

I agreed to the install next Saturday bit then received another message that the installation can not take place until 22/06/2026 at the earliest.

I have decided to cancel the installation and not move to YouFibre (still within 14 day cooling off period). I have messaged them via their chat, emailed them and also raised a ticket to cancel the installation. At this stage I don't trust them to cancel it as they still don't answervall of my questions.

Beany8 - I've had my internet in for a couple of weeks everything is working perfect. the engineer turned up, communication was perfect, everything was explained in detail, workmanship 10/10 fantastic job. I've now signed my parents up off the back of this experience I would highly recommend.

Change to Youfibre.

I changed my Internet to these and they have been really great since the start. Since I had an early termination fee from my old provider,they pay the remaining balance too. Hopefully they keep up the good work. Ryan from the team was very helpful top marks.

Quite possibly the worst broadband…

Quite possibly the worst broadband provider I have ever been with. I was with Vodafone for 8 years and never had a single issue, as soon as I've switched to You Fibres 1000 plan, the wifi is extremely inconsistent in such a small home, the wifi range is awful, I constantly get packet loss and even the mesh boosters are absolutely useless, cap my speeds at 250 when I purchased 1000 and that even still needs resetting every week. To add, their customer service is appauling, I messaged them on their live chat about 7 times and I never get a response, they eventually send an email which tells me to reset my router and it still didn't fix the problem but they had already closed the ticket at that point. Worst broadband provider to exist, do not fall for their cheap prices, it's awful.

I was promised an installation date of…

I was promised an installation date of 6 June 2026, but it appears the booking was never actually made, and I received no confirmation whatsoever.

I only discovered this after contacting the company myself, at which point I was told they couldn't see any installation booking on their system and that I would need to arrange it again. As a result, I have now been given a later installation date.

To make matters worse, communication has been poor throughout. Responses from Karabo have been extremely slow, and I have had to chase for updates rather than being kept informed.

This does not inspire confidence. If there are already issues with communication and administration before the service has even started, it makes me wonder what problems I can expect further down the line. Very disappointing experience so far.
