YouGrow Promo did an excellent job -- my track "Elysian Fields" by Stratafield got over 13,000 streams on YouTube in about 2 months with lots of positive comments as well. :-)

Been using these guys for years and it's the only service I'll touch. Matt also gives a lot of general music tips and tricks if you reach out. As Tina Turner once said, Simply The Best.

the stream numbers are really solid. I purchased the tester package for spotify and it overperformed the promised streams. I was not happy with the playlist curation. It just didn't fit. While it delivers real people's streams, it just doesn't match the genre or mood of the art. while the streams work with an average of 30-50 streams per day, the streams per listener is in the 1.0-1.2 maximum. Noone hits repeat, nobody comes back for the artist. Plus, it kills your algorithm in spotify, if the streams didn't come from your group of interest, instead from another genre. in the long run, this is just cosmetics for your profile by getting your stream numbers up. But it doesn't help to gain real followers.
PS: please be aware we talk about a niche genre here. playlists of that that genre are barely successfull, that's why the team tries to find Anything for you. If you do mainstream type music, YouGrow might just be for you!

I always have good results with YouGrowPromo, I get a good amount of streams from Spotify on no bots.

This is a compilation review of You Grow. We've used them repeatedly (5+ times?) and overall, I'd give them 4.5 Stars.

Background: We have used other companies (Boost, Omari, etc.), but were made aware of YouGrow when subscribing to Andrew Soulsworth.

Initially, our music received very good response from playlisting. Everything was smooth and our music was pitched to engaged curators with active listening audiences. As a result, our organic followers in Spotify increased, which is what I focus on as an artist and DIY promoter. Our focus is to have pockets of dedicated listeners who immediately listen upon new release...and to win over more fans one at a time.

What made YouGrow shine, however, was when our songs were no longer playlisted. YouGrow already showed themselves as a viable promo company, but they also worked with us to pitch other songs to curators, and when they no longer were playlisted (Though they were playlisted before), YouGrow began working with us on promo in other streaming platforms.

A very courteous and professional company. Highly recommended.

I've used Spotify promotions several times, and it has proven to be by far the best service of its kind. I hope they keep up the great work!

A really good service when it comes to promotion and starting a career! I've bought a campaign from YouGrow 3 times now (third campaign still in progress as I've just bought it), and I've only had really positive experiences so far. All the managers I've had so far have been super nice, responded quickly and sent me to curators/playlists that really matched my song. I've never been flagged by Spotify for fake streams etc and the playlists are legit, not botted playlists.
The prices are super fair for what you get, it's all transparent, you can make requests afterwards, and yougrow really tries to find the right playlist every time. (I am German and my songs are also in German, and even for the German region they have found playlists that fit).

Very big plus point: even after the campaigns, I continued to receive daily streams through Spotify's algorithmic playlists. Which is really, really cool.

Conclusion: 5/5 stars, super nice people, super good service for a super fair price, and the first service that really responds to its buyers and really tries to “manage” your campaign, and not just quickly pack you into some playlist. :)

First time using YouGrow I paid for the starter package which estimates 2-6k streams, but I actually ended up with 7.5k streams. Customer service is quick, reliable and friendly. Highly recommend!

I've always found it quite trick when it comes to promoting music & if something is actually legit or not. I tried YouGrow in Feb and the results was fantastic BUT THE COMMUNICATION WAS ALSO JUST AMAZING! A lot of times these companies feels soulless i got linked to a great campaign manager, Emiel who guided me through the whole process, answered any questions i may have etc. Will be coming back for more soon!

What these people do well is customer service! I've worked with them off and on a few times over the past few years and then last week I was having a back and forth with customer service (I was asking some particularly dumb questions 😅) and it hit me. It's so d*mn refreshing as a small fish musician (or just a person in general) to deal with a company that's straightforward and honest. They're by far the best around and I'll happily be back!

YouGrow helped me so much as a beginning artist. I got the Starter Campaign and within 9 days I had the engagement I was hoping for. I followed the whole process step by step in their app and whenever I had questions Sem would respond within a day, usually a few hours. Thanks a lot guys, I will order from you again!

I've tested a lot of Spotify promo companies that pop up in Instagram ads, and hiring one can feel like a gamble. Many services deliver botted streams or place you on playlists with followers but no real listeners. That’s why I always test these services with a "burner" artist account, using music I'm less attached to.

With YouGrow, the playlists they landed me on actually generated real streams and listeners—without bots. I thoroughly vetted the placements using tools like SpotOnTrack, Artist.Tools, and IsItAGoodPlaylist.com, and both playlists checked out with no red flags.

If you're considering YouGrow for playlist pitching, I definitely recommend them. If you've had issues, it's likely due to a lack of understanding of how playlist promotion works. A spike in streams when placed and a drop when removed is just how the system works.

On another note, my campaign manager mentioned that YouGrow is launching an ad management service soon, which could be worth checking out!

My new helpnme

I got the “Rising Artist” package that promises at least 10 thousand streams for my song Don’t Care (About Me) which is in the realm of Alternative Rock.

After I was assigned someone to playlist my track I actually sent an email to please put me in playlists relevant to my music.

What happened was that I just inserted in a playlist with the likes of George Michael and Michael Jackson !!! I was completely ignored by the person that was responsible to my song and the whole company for three days while on that playlist, when I got a reply it was “ I understand where you're coming from. Ultimately our curators choose to add the songs we pitch to the lists where they believe they'll perform best.” And asked if I wanna wait a few more days.

I cannot understand how someone considers my music and defends it should be in an 80s playlist along with pop singers!

After I was able to reach someone else in that company I was put in other playlists BUT I end up getting less than ten thousand streams at least and guess who comes to solve the case ? The same person that believes the music of Parental Takeover fits with 80s pop.

It was a very very disappointing experience and I don’t understand why they just throw people’s music into those playlists that are completely unrelated.

It’s clear to me that I won’t be using their service again and I’m contacting my bank accordingly! I feel defrauded by YouGrow

they're nice people however this review is about the value the company provides for the money you pay. it's honestly a much better deal to use the promotions available directly on each social platform. for example, i used them for a TikTok promotion, and also did a tester on TikTok to see what the results yielded on the same video.

the ratios are pretty on par with all of the promotions i've run directly on TikTok, no matter the cost. so if i spent $77 on TikTok promo instead of with YouGrow, i would have about 10x more the results they delivered, as in:

Follows - 720

less views for less money, BUT way more likes, follows, and comments / engagement in general! they claim their followers are more engaged however that isn't true, as people usually comment a lot and DM me, which didn't happen as a result of their campaign.

i also tried using their Influencer marketing and the result was the laziest videos or videos from unusual creators who don't fit my particular song/branding. you would be better off reaching out to influencers yourself to be sure you get exactly the type of videos you want.

again they're nice people, but they are a company and you are paying them to deliver a certain result. your hard-earned money would be more useful elsewhere, at least in my experience.
