A shaky start but a happy ending

I ordered a suit for my son's prom and I'll be honest, I was nervous. The online ordering process had a few snags - after payment, an error message advising I go back a step and try again. I did 4 times and still an error. Anyway, I checked my bank the next day and sure enough I had been charged 4 times but still no confirmation that an order had gone through. Then I read the customer service reviews and my nervousness trebled. However, I cannot praise Youngs enough (or ACS Clothing Services who deal with the customer service side of things). They were brilliant - confirmed the order, issued the refunds and assured me the suit would be with me in 2 days...and it was, and it is lovely. Absolutely superb and really turned my opinion on its head from what had been a shaky start.

Avoid this company

We hired suits for our wedding, originally through Debenhams so thought they were a trustworthy company. However this was not the case at all.

A few weeks before our final balance was due they increased our invoice and the payment due. Customer Services would not reply to emails and avoid the phones maybe in an attempt to get more money.

The suits are not delivered on time. 3 out of our 9 suits were sent for delivery on the original dispatch date however were all sent to the wrong addresses. The others were not dispatched due to a 'technical error' on the system. However the company were still not capable of getting us all our suits till the following week, 3 days before the wedding leaving little time to sort amendments which we were promised next day delivery for and didn't arrive.

Two of the suits arrived with cigarettes/ filters in pockets and one with stains. We had ties and pocketchiefs missing from all and a waistcoat from one.

Customer Services keep you on hold on the phone and rarely pick up- note this is also a premium number. They avoid emails to and conveniently replied to me 1 hr before my wedding asking for confirmation how I wanted to proceed regarding the suits for the page boys they said fit 2 years old but didn't. I advised I wanted a refund but they have never replied and not issued the refund.

The company do not send return labels in the box maybe another attempt to cause late returns from customers to pay them extra money.

This company caused me nothing but stress and I would advise everyone to not use this company at all costs.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, do not use Young’s suit hire. Its the morning of our wedding and i am lay in bed worrying as still have the completely wrong suit that doesn’t match the others for the best man. We have pants to long, waistcoats to tight.
I have rang and rang emailed after email, promises made to get the the alterations rectified to no avail.So now on our wedding photo our best man isn’t wearing a matching suit.
To add to this my husband to be, has a mobile phone bill from ringing the suits of £185.
This company have ruined the lead up to our wedding, this should be an exciting time, instead of stressing over suits and trying to make contact . Customer service is an absolute disgrace. They need to retrain staff and employ more. End of rant, get ready for our wedding now, with our mix match suits.

If i could rate no stars i would

If i could rate no stars i would. I was blanently lied too and promised the best man's suit would arrive by noon the day before the wedding, which was in completely breach of contract as if should have arrived a week before to check sizes. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. we have paid for suits which didn't arrive, impossible to speak to and no respond to 'chat'. Worse company i have ever dealt with.

I have now sent 5 emails to customer…

I have now sent 5 emails to customer service with no reply. I have purchased suit hire through there outlet in Debenhams store to which is closing. I have tried to contact so many time but phone and email with no reply. I have paid everything in full and getting concerned now I will have no suits for my wedding. Absolutely poor service

Charge my card without my consent

Charge my card without my consent, for an additional try on and delivered damaged trousers on the actual delivery of the suit I'd be wearing for my wedding.
However the do have very good, customer service over the phone.
Would give average to poor for my overall experience.

False and misleading

They do a try on service, where you pick your suit and sizes and they delivery it to your home for free and collect it. Sounds great, right. However, try on does not mean try on. It's just so you can see the suit and make sure you like it. They don't send you the sizes your askes for when you make the order and at that point customer service advised me of what the service is. So a pointless service and very misleading marketing.
