This website operates with absurdly discriminating standards. You can find highly erotic and outright pornograhic pictures of women, pictures showing close-ups of every inch of the female anatomy, but the front side of a man, however flaccid his penis is, gets instantly banned. The reason is "violation of terms", and looking at the websites vague reasons for banning pictures ("obscenity" and "pornography"), it seems that all men are obscene and pornographic, whereas no woman ever is. So if you are a photographer taking pictures of nude men, you better avoid this bigot and double standards website

A much needed alternative for photographers to showcase their skills. The idea of the feedback option in you cut has to be appreciated.

I've been with YP for a few years and have literally nothing to show for it. Except, having cancelled the account this year, they still withdrew the money from my account and when the famous Lisa was approached about this, she refused to give me a full refund offering the premium rate for the year instead. Surely, this is illegal. I'm presently researching the legality of their approach.

It's good for photographers

Subscription cancelled. Unfair practices. 3 types of subscription, free, premium and pro. They don't deliver the promised features that you pay for, avoid compensation, make excuses for everything, and then move the features to a higher subscription so they can take more money out of you. I had premium and it really didn't bring anything at the end. Actually yes, constant spam to upgrade subscription. But they can't keep the originally set of condition... Fraudsters.

i cancelled my paying membership and still 2 months later YouPic took 359.88$ from my account. They promise to refund. Its been 4 months now and still nothing. they dont even respond to my messages on the website or my emails anymore!

Great platform for photographers to showcase their work and grow!

It makes me proud that the value of my photos is preserved in youpic because I can easily communicate the photos and content I create with the viewer who visits this site or application and my art is respected.

As for me great possibility to shaw your art to people from other countries! And also interesting to see what other photographers like most!

It's a wonderful platform for photographers to share their work with fellow photographers and photography enthusiasts from all levels of expertise. The best feeling for a photographer is getting recognized and appreciated, or at least responses and reviews for his work, especially from people with similar interests/expertise and that's exactly what YouPic's photography community provides. The community is responsive and encouraging without bias. The UI is also good for uploading content with all its details and has features to get specific feedback about the photo other than like/share/comment, from peers and YouPic's team of experts. Besides the limited number of uploads in a day for free accounts, I love all the aspects and features of YouPic.

There is also the possibility of awarding an inspiration star (limited quantity for each person), to emphasize a specific photo, which will be integrated into a specific inspiration gallery. In the paid versions, it is possible to see the settings that were used in each photo (ISO, shutter speed, aperture), create galleries and create a portfolio. You can also follow people whose photos you like, make comments and start private conversations. The issue of photo security with blocking options for saving images and tracking/monitoring them is also an important aspect. Finally, the agreement with a physical gallery is something very interesting for those who would like to see their works displayed on the wall.
