Took a long time to get product

Took a long time to get product that eventually arrived from China via DHL and U.S. Postal Service. Prodding through PayPal may have helped speed delivery. The Buzz-Begone bug zapper appears to work as advertised. I have no complaints with the operation of the units purchased. However, I was billed for shipping even though free shipping was supposed to be part of the deal. I asked for a refund of shipping fees but was ignored. I feel it pointless to pursue further as the company is unresponsive to requests for remittance. I seriously doubt I will ever do business with this company again.

fraudlent activities within this company

Like many others I have concluded this company is a fraud, providing an inferior product, billing my credit card for no ordered products. When confronted with the issue they never answered my concern, pivoted and sent me the product which I dd not order. but just to sum up;
*Ordered 2 -6/30/22 for $79.98
*7/24/22 contacted Buzz b gone by E-mail asking where where the order was? Given the run a round, supply chain issues etc.
*reviewed my VISA billing for June and found 2 charges one on 6/30/22 for $79.88 one on 6/11/22 for $129.93
*contacted Buzz B Gone about the $129.93 charge and they claimed it was for an order I made and would work to find out where it was and fill it.
*I E-mailed them again and told them I never made an order for anything that cost $129.93 and please refund this amount to my VISA account. They continued to try to fill the order and paid no attention to my statement that I did not make this order.
*I contacted VISA fraud division and detailed my experience. They temporarily removed the $129.93 charge while investigating.
*On August 17 I received a second order of 2 units which I did not order. I complained to Buzzbgone and they said to return them for credit. I had to pay $9 shipping.
*my conclusion is this company is a fraud. If I had never complained about the $129.93 charge they would have conveniently forgot all about it and never shipped the 2units I did not order.
*As to the bug zapper, it works but has major flaws, too small, insufficient battery reserve, . It is about the size of a coffee cup. Zappers need to have large surface area and a strong light to attract and kill bugs this unit has neither. The limited battery about 3-4 hours, provides a small light. Can't be used where it might get wet or is bright, like outdoors. Isn't this where the bugs are?
*Why would I spend $129.93 when they can be had for $79.88. This company exhibits all of the characteristics of a scam and needs to be put out of business.

Stories in Newspapers are Paid Content

There is lots of content on the web about how scientific these bug zappers are. In most cases the content is clearly labeled “sponsored” therefore Buzz B Gone is paying for these reviews. The other reviews here clearly speak the truth.

Update: in response to the comment by the Buzz Gone response. I have been Trying to get a full refund for 2 weeks and support has refused to send the necessary paper work. That is terrible customer support. Review still stands as written and I support all the other 1 star Comments, including no one answers the phone, or the VM won't accurately take a message.and disconnects.

No complaints

There was a hick up in the process of ordering this on line. I decided to cancel my order. After the kind and professional treatment I received while doing so, I'm certain the glinch was through no intentional fault of the co. Speçial shout out to Jim who helped me thru the glinch.

I wish I would of found this site…

I wish I would of found this site before I ordered. Same as everyone else. Ordered two and money was taken from CC immediately. 7 weeks later nothing but canned responses. I will be filing all this info with the ND Attorney General's office they have a division that handles this kind of FRAUD! Where we live the mosquito and fly season will be over in a few weeks.

Same scam as everyone else

Same scam as everyone else. they took my money immediately (for FOUR of these), promised in a few days, a month later nothing but a fake scam tracking number to nowhere. I want my money back but it sounds like i will have to go to my credit card company to get it. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, DO NOT BUY.

Dishonest company

After waiting 6 weeks for delivery of the mosquito zapper, repeatedly entering the Lengthy tracking number and getting no progress, I tried to cancel my order. I could reach No one. I also found out that the same item was for sale for $8 when BuzzBGone charged me $45 plus shipping. These guys are crooks. I’m filing a dispute with my credit card company.
I wish I had access to these reviews before I ordered
it.

Edit: After more than 2 months this item arrived. BuzzBGone, you asked for my order number, but there is no way to respond on here. And any other way I have tried to contact you has been futile. I am very unhappy with the cost of this and the time it took to arrive. The other one I bought for $8 has the bug zapper AND a flashlight, a reading light, a blinking emergency light and a dim light function as well. BuzzBGone has not attracted or zapped one single mosquito yet. What a rip off.
My order number is 2219183429
I was charged $48.94 for this tiny, ineffective tool. I would like to return it for a full refund.

The only phone number I have for BuzzBGone is 855-792-0194 and I have not been able to get through to a real person, ever. Please give me a valid address to return it. The one on the container is 191 Blair Rd, Avenel, NJ 07001. If I return it to that address, will I get $48.94 credited to my VISA card? Otherwise, send me an appropriate address.

For nearly two months now

For nearly two months now, I have been at war with buzzbgone. I was given shipping status that was wrong , I requested cancellation 15 times . Finally , I posted my experience on trustpilot , and then filled a dispute with my credit card company. Finally I filed a review of the company with the BBB . Today , I received an email stating my money had been credited back to my card. Having looked at many reviews, plus my experience, I would advise anyone to avoid buzzbgone.

When will I receive my order?

Placed my order for Buzzbgone June 9, 2022, I received an order confirmation email and a tracking number for USPS. When I called USPS, their system asked for the tracking #, and I did; only to get a response that my shipping label was created June 9th. I've sent one email to customer service and another today, July 27th. I find it odd that there's not a phone number for customer service.
Did anyone have to contact credit card company; regarding purchase?

Did not receive tracking information and customer service is Impossible to get ahold of. They also
Charged my credit card twice, one of the charges I did not authorize and am working to get it refunded. Bad company

Placed my order June 13th

Placed my order June 13th, started inquiring where my order was first week of july. they sent me an email with a tracking number. All the tracking number says is label has been ordered. sent 2 more inquiries now they just dont answer. Terrible customer service and poorly run company. I could of been there biggest advocate telling all my friends now it will be just the opposite.

Unbelievably BuzzBGone actually sent us…

Unbelievably BuzzBGone actually sent us an email today from a supposed human being. After many emails and complaints by us they told us that they had sent my order to the address I told them many times not to send it to. I have seen incompetence and poor customer service in the past, but these folks take all awards for stupidity. I sent them back a two page email outlining how irritating it is to have them post canned responses on Trustpilot and never answer a simple question asked by their customers. In reading all the reviews on Trustpilot it marvels me how there are only a very few positive responses and how they thanked the client for that review. Most, if not all of the negative posted is over customer service, not the product. That really tells you something, it is not the product, but the customer service that is terrible. An easy fix if they would listen to their customers. We are all wasting our time on these clowns. I only wish all these reviews were posted all over the Internet so people like us would not go through this anxiety. In my case I have gone back to PayPal and demanded a refund. I asked BuzzBGone for one and they did not even have the courtesy to respond. They now tell me they are shipping a second shipment to my Yukon address. I do not want their junk at any price. If the customer service is this bad, what happens if you have a problem with the item. I think the chap who threatened to sue them has the correct attitude. If you out there need some assistance in doing that, drop me a note.

Never received an order confirmation…

Never received an order confirmation email nor a shipping/tracking email. When you try to call their customer service you get an automated message requesting your contact information followed by a message that states you will get an email from them. Why would you call to get an eventual email response?

There is something shady/wrong when a legitimate company does not send you any response at all to an order that has been placed and makes it difficult/impossible to contact them. I should’ve remembered to check here on Trustpilot before making a purchase with BuzzBGone. I contacted PayPal to resolve the matter. If you must, try ordering the item through Amazon (which I just saw listed on there). I am taking my business elsewhere.

I place my order back in May I'm going through the same crap that these other people are going through no reply and the only one thing we do get is that same repeated email response back no one lets us know anything gives us what order number so we can track it or do they want to give us our money back because they haven't sent us our dang product yet I'm tired of arguing about it I think I think a lawsuit is in order maybe the law can help track somebody down or our product better yet just our money back times a rough people are dying out here and y'all want to rip people off really yeah it's lawyer time just FYI!!!!!!

They don't deserve one star. Do not deal with them.

Their aftersales tactic is DELAY---SAY SORRY---DELAY

They know that if they delay long enough, you will give up.

I bought 3 x ZAP anti-mosquito lights, but one of the charging leads is faulty. Will they replace it? Of course not !! Are you going to replace it 'buzzbgone'????

I am now editing my post as 'buzzbgone' have asked me to let them have my order number, which is 2218381319. If I receive a new charging cable I will be pleased to report it here and thank them. We'll see.

Edit 2 .. August 10th 2022, I promised to edit this post if they put the problem right. Well, they have now sent me a complete new unit and it works. But wow, you have to badger them to bits to get action.

Cash on delivery, right?!

Seems everyone is having the same experience as I am. I ordered 3 units on July 9th. PayPal payment was processed July 11th and I was given a tracking number that doesn’t work. The website made it sound like they had inventory, clearly they have no inventory and chose to be dishonest. My order number is 2219335165.
