The reviewer has altered their review on numerous occasions.

In many of its edits the review has made defamatory comments, and still continues to publish untruths within their review.

The reviewer was notified that her previous compensation award, which she used our service to recover, was subject to an automatic tax deduction, and we advised the reviewer how much the deduction was.

We advised the reviewer that we offer a service to recover the tax deduction, but she was not obliged to use our service and could simply opt out by clicking on a link within the email.

Instead, of her own volition, the reviewer requested we seek to recover the tax deduction on her behalf.

As a HMRC Agent we must carry out due diligence to ensure the tax deducted should be returned to the consumer, and this is the reason we requested the reviewers income for the specific year of the tax deduction.

This information would have been kept in the strictest confidence and used only for the purpose of due diligence and submission of the refund of the tax deduction.

Our business is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office with respect to data protection, and we therefore must have processes and procedures in place to protect any such information.

When asked for this information the reviewer advised she wanted to cancel the agreement.

We reminded the reviewer that as the agreement had not reached its natural conclusion, that there would be a fee for our reasonable expenses for work carried out up to the date of the request to cancel, and asked if she would confirm whether she still wished to cancel the agreement.

The reviewer chose not to respond, so we carried out her request to cancel the agreement and issued our cancellation invoice.

The reviewer chose not to pay, and we were therefore left with little alternative other than to issue the matter to court.

The reviewer suggests that she said 'no' on many occasions. This is a lie. As stated, the reviewer was advised of the service and was under no obligation whatsoever to use our service. The reviewer was provided with a link to opt out, but she did not do this. Instead she chose to do so of her own free will. Evidence will prove this.

The reviewer has suggested she asked us to delete her email address. Again, this is a lie. Evidence will prove this.

The reviewer suggests this is not a straight forward process. We complete the forms and provide the evidence. The reviewer simply had to sign one form and provide her approximate income for the specific year. The process is as simple as it can be.

It would appear, based on the reviewers other reviews made elsewhere that they are a habitual publisher of malicious reviews.

As a company we welcome and actively request reviews of our services, and accept that on occasion things do not meet the standards expected.

However, we will not accept defamatory and false reviews and, as a result of this reviewer publishing such, this matter is subject of legal action.

It should be of interest however, that this reviewer has had to be take to court twice previously, with each judgment being found in our favour.

Although the service was good and in…good service but harassed me afterwards

Although the service was good and in the end they did get me a few hundred pounds back, they tortured me for their fee, all through the pandemic and an illness that landed me in hospital 4 times they still threatened me with legal action as I didn’t read my emails as I was soo ill and it was the last thing on my mind, I hadn’t touched the money and it was there to pay back any fee once I was well enough todo so which in the end I did, I didn’t appreciate the threatening emails.

With regards to the reply from them below if they record the phone calls they would know as I told the team on numerous occasions! I was ill from November, I got paid afterwards!!!! I was hospitalised 4 times, even after I paid I am still received emails advising I had to pay????? Hopefully they will all stop now.

Thank you for your review.

We are happy that you've been satisfied with the service in recovering compensation for you.

You were paid the PPI compensation on 31st December 2020.

On the emails and SMS text messages we provide details of how payment of our fee can be made, offering you the option of a bank transfer, cheque or card payment.

You made payment of our fee on 25th May 2021, almost five months after having received the funds.

Between 31st December 2020 and 11th May 2021 you did not advise us at any point that your health was inhibiting your ability to pay the fee.

Had you provided any evidence of this we would most certainly have placed the matter on hold.

All calls are recorded and there has not been any mention of any health issues until your call to us on 11th May 2021.

You did call in March and advised that our emails had been going into your junk folder and this was the reason for no response. During the call you confirmed your mobile number as being the one we hold on file.

If you called in using a different number we have on system for you we will happily check any recordings relating to this alternative number.

Thank you for your review.

We are a little surprised with respect to your comments regarding the commission, given you signed to confirm you had read and accepted the Terms of Engagement which clearly states the fee. We must assume that you had read and accepted the Terms of Engagement prior to signing to confirm you had done so.

In respect to the length of time taken to obtain your compensation award we agree it did take longer than usual but this was due to the broker of your credit facility no longer trading, and us therefore having to re-route the claim via the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The FSCS does not have any strict timescales for processing claims and did return on a couple of occasions requiring additional information in light of the broker no longer trading.

In addition, the country has been in the middle of a health pandemic whilst your claim was being processed, which wasn't helped by delays in you returning documentation, which is completely understandable.

We encourage customers to read and understand information that is sent to them, and to contact us if they are unsure of anything.

Customers beware of 48% fees to claim rebate from HMRC

Previously Your money Claim had secured a PPI refund for me and took around 25% fees from the payment. This I can accept because of the work involved and I was very satisfied with the outcome and service given. Today I received a payment via YMC from HMRC where by YMC have taken 48% of it in fees. All the work involved in this apart from a letter to HMRC by YMC was done by the Tax Office who contacted me directly. I do not have a leg to stand on as after complaining today it was drawn to my attention that this 48% fee was in the small print. I had wrongly assumed it would be the same charges as PPI and did not read the small print for this latest claim. I do think these fees should have been drawn to my attention directly as they were so extortionate. The reason I have made this review is to warn other customers to be sure to read the small print regarding fees and do not assume they will be the same. I should have dealt directly with HMRC which would have been straight forward in hindsight and received all of the rebate due. Further to YMC's response the term 'small print' is an expression used instead of 'Terms and conditions' in plain language.

Thank you for your review.

We are surprised at the contents of your review, given you signed to confirm your acceptance of the Terms of Engagement, which clearly provide details of the fee and which is not in any 'small print'. To clarify, there is no 'small print' as you suggest.

The fee is set at its current rate due to the very small margins involved in comparison to the amount of work undertaken.

To give you an idea, the average fee we receive for obtaining tax refunds is less than £100.00.

The work carried out to obtain the tax refund includes a full review of correspondence received which details historical PPI and/or Packaged Bank Account compensation awards, calculating what refund is due, providing evidence of the calculation and refund due, liaising with HMRC throughout where required and disbursing refunds.

We therefore consider the fee represents excellent value for money, which is confirmed by the many satisfied customers we have acted on behalf of.
