I really enjoyed the customer experience at Your Native Teacher. The team was available whenever I needed the smallest thing, by phone or by message and were super helpful in their responses. They always explained everything clearly from A to Z.

Besides my limited time, I will also mention some the negative part of my experience which led me to cancel my subscription. I think the main thing is that I didn't feel I connected with my teacher and her learning style, and therefore I didn't come motivated to the class. During the class, we only did exercises and there was never a class for revising grammar for example, or going through a chapter with a particular theme. I think this teacher would have been great for someone in a very advanced level (upper C1-C2), but I felt it a bit hard to try and keep up without filling in my gaps and just keep practicing.

What I really appreciate is how flexible it is – I can choose when I want to work and how many hours I want to take on, which is perfect for me. I’m in control of my schedule, and the pay per hour is actually really good. The admin team is also amazing – the girls are always kind, helpful, and really take the time to listen to us. They’re always coming up with ways to improve things and make life easier for both us and the students.

Super friendly and helpful staff as well as great students. Only downside is the lack of students, only a handful within 3 months.

Overall, it has been a very good experience. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive during business hours. The sales team that helps put you together with students is very professional and helpful. Free trials are also paid (compared to some other platforms) and I have had more new students in the past almost four months than on other, more widely known platforms. The only drawbacks are the pay (which could be better) tech, the lack of an app. A great second income and great tutor experience all around otherwise.
