Terrible. Never Again!

Ordered from this company via Amazon on 6th August. 8th August item was marked as shipped.
Supposedly shipped from within the UK but didn't arrive until the 18th August.
Each time I contacted the company I got irrelevant scripted responses.
The parcel had clearly been sent by another company and then re-sealed so I can only assume that the delay is due to some kind of distribution network system. Either way I've never had to wait ten days for anything to be delivered within the UK!
I'll never use this company again and I hope they go out of business.

Buyer beware - never received!

Ordered from this shower on Rakuten on 2nd April and didn't get the CD. They said they would send out another and that didn't arrive either so with the intervention of Rakuten I finally got my money back on the 18th and there is still no sign of the 2 CDs they allegedly sent out. They kept saying they were not officially lost for 15 days according to the Royal Mail. i would hesitate to buy from Rakuten again as they are no longer as reliable as in the old Play.com days.

avoid

placed order on amazon and play.com and they said they posted it but i know they didn't what are the chances of ordering from two places and both orders not turing up it was a price glitch and they just didn't want to honour the price so avoid bad business practice

I Got It...and Quickly!

I placed my order for Carmen (Rise Stevens) with Amazon.com and it arrived as if mailed from the nearest town. The album is in superb condition and is a very welcome addition to my collection. I was reluctant to order from a company across the pond -- but unnecessarily so.

Never received item - avoid!

Ordered a dvd on 04/07/14 from them via play.com and what a poor experience.
They claim to dispatch the item after two working days but that's a joke.

After waiting a week and a bit I emailed asking where my item was and for a subsequent refund. I at least got a quick response but to my annoyance the I was told they had to wait Royal Mail 18 working days or something silly to get a refund but was assured it would arrive by then.

It never arrived so I had to tell them I wanted a refund immediately.
I finally got my refund until 28/07/14.

They then had the cheek to say 'if it turns up let us know so we can give you a return address". If it didn't turn up after almost a month of waiting it was hardly going to show up miraculously now.

Will avoid using them now and will just use Amazon instead when I purchase DVDs.

Never again.

Ordered a DVD which didn't come.
Emailed them and said it hadn't come and they emailed me back to say they will be sending another one out within 2 days. I emailed (as they stated) 30 mins after that email was sent to confirm I didn't want another one as it's nearly Xmas and the 2 days wait for it to be posted and then the 6-7 working days delivery would make it just after Xmas. (Getting it delivered to work so won't be there to get it) they had 'apparently' sent another DVD out and then saw my email.

I work for an online company I personally go through the post to pick out orders if customers change their mind. Where as I didn't have the option. They presumed I would want a replacement.

No happy at all and wouldn't order from them or play.com now.
