So very happy with this company

I was quite hesitant to order at first because there are a lot of negative reviews here, and the price of the Caran d’Ache Pablo 120 pencil set seemed almost too good to be true.

I also didn’t receive a tracking number straight away, which made me a bit concerned. However, I contacted customer service and Craig was really helpful and reassured me about my order.

The pencils were dispatched and arrived via Royal Mail the next day as stated and everything turned up safely. The set was sealed, brand new, and exactly as expected.

Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase — it was an excellent price compared to other retailers. My experience was positive, even though I was unsure at the start.

Shockingly bad

The reason they are so reasonable on price is obvious now. Their delivery is shockingly bad and I wish I’d looked here before ordering from this company. My order (which was meant to be 48hr express delivery) took 9 days to arrive. I run an art school so the delay was really inconvenient.

Terrible

Terrible! I placed an order on a Monday evening for £20.99 that included Vat and no postage was mentioned. I paid and the sum of £20.99 was showing as a pending transaction. On Tuesday morning I had an email to say that a £10 handling charge would also need to be paid. I replied and asked for my order to be cancelled. I had no reply after a few hours and as I was keen to stop the order being processed and more money taken out of my account I emailed again. I had a reply that said it had been cancelled. On Wednesday the pending payment was authorised and YPO now had my money. On Wednesday evening I sent an email asking why this payment had gone through when it had been cancelled 24 hours before. The reply said the refund had been done on Wednesday morning. I asked why it hadn’t been done on Tuesday morning when I cancelled? In response to that email I had an automated email stating the person was now out of the office and 15 minutes later the money was transferred into my account.
I have never know a company to take payment and then tell you you owe £10 more. Absolute joke. Cowboy company

ypo delivery dumped on ground in wet weather twice in 10 days. YOBS not ypo. its appears difficult to get a firm you can OR would like rely on and trust. the driver delivery man for this firm . dumped. YES dumped 3 parcels to us. .so he parked outside our house under a plethora of cctv cameras. the YOB just dumped the parcels 3 over 10 days inside leaning against the gate . 10 feet more he could have just rang the bell knocked on the door. but No in the inclement weather. all the parcels would have been destroyed .he drove off with out a care in the world. our parcel our money, please change you name to YoBS not YPO thsi was in the weeks of mid to end of august . only just found out you had a trust pilot account. YOBS not YPO. dual core tape dispenser. card etc

New to YPO

I ordered various items for my new business. It was only when I placed the order that I saw some of the reviews from previous customers which terrified me! However, I can only speak very highly of the experience I've had. I placed my order on 14th Nov and everything arrived on 16th Nov. Everything is exactly as I expected. I will definitely be using their services again. Thank you from Photini Pottery.

Company on the decline

Our Multi Academy Trust has used YPO for a number of years now. But over the last couple of years their quality of service has declined massively. Constantly sending the wrong items, incorrect invoices and incorrectly allocation payments.

Thieves

Ordered a table from them back in October 2022 and still haven't received either the table, updates, or the refund I have requested several times. So basically, they are thieves. No one answers the phones and when we enailed we got the pleasure of being subjected to Rebecca's customer service which can be likened to talking to a sullen teenager.

Rubbish service, you will never receive your goods

I ordered items from this company on 20th December. It is now the 14th January and they still haven't sent my order. You do get an email to say they are chasing this up, you will be told you will get an email to confirm dispatch that afternoon. But you will never receive that. You will then be ignored. In the end I had to get my bank to do a chargeback to get my money back..
Would not recommend this firm at all.

You can’t speak to anyone if you order an item with a prefix D… email ONLY..
We placed an order on 24th April ., after chasing this up (now July) we were emailed to be told end August… then a subsequent email saying it was delivered 27th April.. signed by a T.Smith..!!!!!! Never heard of a T.Smith.. and we can’t get to speak to anyone.. YPO voicemail say “we offer excellent customer service “

Ive used YpO a few times and not had…

Ive used YpO a few times and not had any problems. I buy alot of my art materials for students here.
My last order was left outside and partly got stolen and I emailed, YPO customer services sent me another one out.
They get a thumbs up 👍🏽 And i would recommend them.

Sorry can’t recommend

Sorry can’t recommend. Ordered paint in June, some arrived damaged. I emailed them showing the damaged paint in photos and it was clear it had been man handled as paint cartons were split. YPO agreed to replace the damaged paint in an agreed timeframe. The paint never arrived and as of 18 October still had no refund from them. I’ve consistently emailed them explaining each the issue and each time their customer service do nothing. They still owe me roughly £25, it’s pretty disgusting.

Shocking Service from YPO

Ordered 3 tables and only 2 arrived - original order indicated delivery to be 3-5 days but the order took well over a month. As one table had not arrived I asked to change it to a different table which i was told would be fine and this duly came. However, i have received 2 invoices, one for 3 tables and 1 for the other table and no credit note for the table not received. I have just held on the telephone for 34 minutes only to be told they can't deal with my query i have to email their furniture dept. So i have done that and receives a reply saying i will get a response in 3-5 days! I don't know what is going on with YPO lately but their customer service is appalling.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Someone called Aimee replied to emails in the least endearing manner.
I ordered a set of pencils as I do art work and 15 days later nothing.
Apparently not in stock, then vague replies regarding refunds.

Why on earth can't they put stock levels on the site. Morons

Poor service

The main item i ordered for was showing in stock but in delivery invoice it was cancelled due to out of stock without notifying me. Now if I want yo order something alternative I have to make a minimum purchase of £40 which is pathetic when I only made the first purchase only for the purpose of the item that was put of stock..
Dont think just will order from them again.

Took £150 for something that they no longer stock! Avoid.

I ordered a lego education set for £150 at the end of November. 10 days later I contacted the company to find out what had happened. They told me that it had been shiped and gave me a tracking number. I contacted the shipping company and they said that they havent recieved the item. I went back to YPO and they now tell me that the item has been discontinued and that they no longer sell it! There has been a mistake with their website and I shouldnt have been able to order it. This is despite having sent me a delivery note saying that they had sent it and still advertising it on their website. I have asked for a refund but have yet to recieve it. Nightmare. Avoid this company.

Ordered some acrylic paints

Ordered some acrylic paints, 4-6 days delivery, waited the due time then contacted company. All items were out of stock, not available until next year. The person I spoke to was friendly enough but no hint of an apology only excuses. I opted to cancel my order and get a refund, please wish me luck with that considering the other reviews I have read. I wont be using this company again and will not recommend them to anyone.
