Everything was freshly prepared and…
Everything was freshly prepared and very good. Service was excellent.
Wow, a little gem!
Wow. How on earth has nobody left these guys a review yet! Having lived with a Japanese girl for a while I had tasted many different dishes, textures and tastes. The head chef has trained in Japan for over the usual 7 years to master his craft, and that he has. The construction of the sashimi was perfect. Texture, flavour and presentation too. Most impressive was the light and fragrant ginger and although I'm not normally a fan of Wasabi, I found myself going back to my plate for more. The tempura batter was as light as a feather, allowing the taste of the fish, prawn and vegetables to shine. The dipping sauce was also very delicate and complimented the food very well.
All of this and a great welcome from the staff too.
If you like Japanese food, this restaurant is worth a visit for sure.
Not cheap, but you understand why when you experience the food.
More of a Japanese eatery ambience, with minimalist style, but that helps to make it more authentic. This is not the fake wanna be Japanese eatery.
