what happened

I agree with others, horrible return policy!
And what in the world happened to YK quality. I purchased a beautiful chiffon dress with ruffles, wrapped fabric buttons and attention to detail at SHOPBOP several years ago and it is absolutely gorgeous.
Now, i have this ridiculous store credit for over a year and can’t find a single suitable piece. Hope they still honor it, any idea expiration on store credit?
NOTHING NEW for over two years.

They are expensive and do NOT accept…

They are expensive and do NOT accept returns. While they say they accept returns, the fine print says besically only exchanges are allowed, after marking down your credit and you have to pay for $15 shipping again. If you didn’t like what you got you’re forced to buy something else for $200-300.

Scam Return Policy

This company will not provide a refund. They only provide store credits over gift card. I ordered a couple of dresses to try on for a wedding and neither of them fit me properly and I was not satisfied with the quality of the clothing. I went to return the clothing and learned that they only give store credit. I went through the hassle of returning the dresses, ordering new dresses and had the same problems as before. I did this three times before finally giving up and keeping items that do not fit properly and that I did not like after realizing I did not like anything from the company. I think they realize that the clothing is poor quality and inconsistent in sizing so they only give store credits in order to keep your money. What a scam!!!
For reference I am 5ft8 and 145lbs.

Horrible Customer Experience with a "Luxury" Brand

After two days of my codes not working for my SMS/email signup, I asked my rep, Alice, for an increased discount on my dress that I need to order for a time sensitive event. The NEXT day, I see the entire site is 25% off. If the company had any sense of excellent customer service, I would have been alerted and the representative could have manually given me the extra 10% off for the delay and issues for the code not working due to "engineering issues"

When the representative told me she couldn't give me an increased discount for the inconvenience there was no explanation or reason as to why. This looked even worse when the entire site went 25% off the next day. I really love Yumi Kim but I have many options and places to shop and will choose to spend my money with a brand that takes customer service way more seriously.

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. I bought a dress for a wedding back in March that I was so excited about. It was expensive but I figured that Yumi Kim was a high quality brand so it would last. I was wrong. I kept it in my closet unworn for 4 months and when the time came to wear it, the material in the sleeve shredded. I assumed this was a manufacturing issue they would fix right away, but when I wrote in to them they said they couldn’t possibly do anything because the stress hadn’t been returned within their 48 hour return window. I don’t know who gets a chance to try out a gown within 2 days of purchase, but it’s clear they have no faith in their own quality. I have tried reasoning with them over email and have gotten nowhere — they couldn’t care less about their customers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
