I was really disappointed with my visit…

I was really disappointed with my visit to Zaytoons Temple bar dublin yesterday. The portion sizes have gone way down — you only get a tiny bit of lettuce and cabbage, and the meat serving is the smallest I’ve ever seen in a kebab. Kebabs are meant to be filling, but this was far from it. Not sure if they’re trying to cut costs, but it definitely shows.

The dough was undercooked, which made it unpleasant to eat. For the price you pay, it’s just not worth it anymore. The garlic mayo has also changed — they’re now using a cheap-tasting mayo that completely ruins the flavour.

I used to eat here often and really enjoyed it, but the quality has gone downhill. I hope this review helps them improve moving forward, because right now, I won’t be coming back.

19 Euro for a Shish…....

19 Euro for a Shish Kebab with 6 cubes of meat...... I really can't justify the value for the money. All I could taste was the salad. No choice of what sauce or salad I wanted on it. Still hungry, not worth a carrot

Upset me it has.

Save yourselves

Horrible experience, arrogant services with no knowledge of what they are serving, I asked for sumac and they give me mixed heart, a kebab, 21 EUR. Bunch of liars, maybe knowledgeable on tikka masala but definitely not thing such as sumac, still overcharged. Shawarma or Reina are more authentic and just few metres away.

Disappointed

It was delicious before, but not anymore. At 11:20 PM, you get a pre-heated kebab that doesn’t taste the same as a fresh one. Turkish Ayran, usually plain, had seasoning. Doogh is often seasoned with mint, and it just doesn’t taste the same. At least someone should have mentioned it contains mint. Won’t be back again, disappointed after many years

I rate the Kebabs at Zaytoon as Excellent …

I have to rate the Kebabs at Zaytoon as excellent. Well cooked and tasty. We will continue to eat from here and recommend to friends and family. I don't eat bread so I would love to see them offer a proper sized side salad option instead
