The "tip" isn't always optional
The Zeffy 'optional contribution' isn't really optional, because if you miss the drop-down menu when you make a donation and don't opt out, they automatically add 15% to your donation (for amounts over $25 and 17% or $5 for donations under $25), so it becomes a default charge. And it's sort of misleading for Zeffy to call it a "Tip", right? It's a charge to generate revenue and cover costs for the service they provide, since they are a for-profit company. Be transparent, Zeffy, and make the contribution an opt-in.
