I had a very negative experience with a subscription to Deutsch Perfekt Digital from ZEIT Sprachen.

I never knowingly ordered this subscription. It seems that I may have visited the website at some point, but I never intentionally agreed to a paid contract. Despite this, I later started receiving invoices.

When I contacted the company and asked for proof that I had actually agreed to a paid subscription, they were unable to provide any clear evidence of my consent. The only document they sent was a generic “welcome letter”, which does not prove that I actively ordered anything.

The situation was extremely stressful. After several messages and disputes I managed to get the amount reduced, but I still felt pressured to pay in order to avoid further escalation and possible collection procedures.

This whole process felt very misleading and unfair. I strongly recommend that people be extremely careful when visiting this website or interacting with any offers connected to Deutsch Perfekt Digital. In my opinion the subscription system is confusing and can easily lead to unexpected invoices.

Please read everything very carefully and think twice before entering your details on this site. I would definitely not recommend this service.

Be ware people! Don't take any free test, there is a payment. I will tell my story. I dont talk German. Im trying to learn. So at a point I saw in fb an advertisement from sprachen zeit a free test to check your german. I did the test and they asked me to put my address. I did it. They start sending me an online magazine at my email even though i didnt agree in my knowledge for this . I never opened their emails because for me this was usual spam. After some months it came a bill at my address saying that I have to pay for their magazine because in some way I agreed to pay it. When I called them they say that my issue is now at the Incasso (debt collection department) and I have to talk with them. I reached Incasso and they have doubled the debt. So as I understand they company has taken advantage of me not talking German to put me in some debts. I am in immunetherapy and a cancer survivor. Now I have to fight this kind of cancer. Companies that try to make money in shady ways. Whoever had the same experience we can fight then together.

As a native English speaker, I never subscribed to this magazine — I had no reason to. Yet, I received two unsolicited issues, which I assumed were junk mail and discarded without opening.

I even called the company and told them I thought someone had signed me up as a joke to "help me improve my English." Despite this, I later received threatening letters demanding payment for a subscription I never agreed to.

I have never entered into a contract with this company, nor have I ever provided my bank details. Now, I’m being pursued by a debt collection agency for something I never requested or used.

This experience says a lot about how this company operates. I would strongly caution others to be careful.
