BE AWARE! They will not tell you when you purchase - all mattresses need to be flipped every 6 weeks - regardless of how heavy & difficult this is - otherwise they void the warranty

I wish I read the previous review - as we made the mistake of buying one of Zen Beds king bed mattresses, and paid $5,300. More fool us! It is a very heavy and very thick mattress - they had to deliver it in three sections as it is so heavy.
Only 6 months after having the mattress, a lump appeared along the length of the middle of the mattress - despite buying a very strong and level timber base for the mattress.
The response was that we should have been flipping and rotating this very heavy and large mattress every 6 weeks! At no point were we told this - we would NEVER have purchased a mattress requiring this effort on such a regular basis. Particularly when the mattress is SO heavy & awkward to handle.

When contacted the owner's response was "It was clearly explained, as it is to all customers, pre and post purchase of this necessity and requirement to flip and rotate. [We were definitely NOT told this]

You've acknowledged your awareness from delivery that the Peace 25 comes in three layers. This is because it is a very heavy mattress and for ease of flip and rotate. It takes a few minutes to unzip, and change layers around, rezip. [This seems to be counter-intuitive that it is so heavy and awkward that it has to be delivered in 3 pieces, but should only take a few minutes for us to do this - it certainly took the delivery team a LOT longer than a few minutes to assemble it, and I presume they have significant experience??]

You've acknowledged you have not been performing this as warranty required. [So, they didn't tell us we needed to do this, and then void our warranty for not doing what they didn't tell us to do]"

Zen beds and sofas Brisbane

Horrible experience with Zen beds and sofas in east Brisbane.
Ended up with a poorly made sofa bed for $1900. Couldn't get a refund. The owner is a lunatic.
