They do what they say, and the fee is very reasonable. We visit Japan a lot, but sometimes there are things you just can't find locally. It's cool they have a network of local shops all over the country that you can order from. Especially good for vintage and rare items.
Shipping takes a while because they need to get it domestically shipped first, and then re-package it for international shipping, but hey, that's how the system works. I got the package and really happy with it!

After having received several parcels in good condition, perfectly packaged, and despite selecting the reinforcement option (as requested in the interface), I received this parcel with broken items that were originally in perfect condition and, as a collector, that I had purchased specifically for their condition.
Only a very partial refund was issued (30% of the price, without taking shipping costs or customs fees into account) after considerable discussion with customer service. It is impossible to find a replacement item for my collection with such limited compensation, despite the negligence of the ZenMarket team, who shipped a parcel with almost half of the interior left without any padding (no bubble wrap, nothing). I do not think I will continue using this service.

Zen Market's customer service is amazing, they helped me with everything perfectly and accommodated every single request I made with care and precision, my package has not arrived yet, but that is out of Zen Market's hands since they aren't the company shipping it, for their part of the process (being the proxy that buys the items in Japan and hands them off to the shipping company), my experience was nothing short of excellent, and I have already made another purchase with them and have plans for more.

I've used Zenmarket since 2022, at first for occasional pre-orders of special fandom goods. More recently I've been buying a lot from JP Mercari for many small collectables and fandom merch (in bulk for cheaper than retail but second-hand), as well as a few external site pre-orders. I've rarely had issues with anything in the past, parcels were packed with care, they provide a 1000yen extra reinforcement to parcels which I used recently and was very pleased with. In the past several months, their responses to issues in their message chat have been a bit slow, taking 1-3 days depending on the issue.
My only gripe was when I was when recently I was trying to place orders on 'lottery' goods. It seems Japan has two different main definitions of lottery goods, one which Zenmarket does not support, but what I was trying to buy a decent quantity of kind of like blind box/mystery goods based on a bunch of different possible items. It took a lot of back and forth and multiple attempts to place a pre-order, which were cancelled a few times, before someone finally approved the purchase.
I haven't bought anything large or particularly fragile, so I can't speak on that. From personal experience and from other experiences I've seen recently online, support has been slower than usual, including item purchasing that isn't automated and needs to be checked by their staff. I've never been in a hurry to buy very limited time items, like sell out in an hour items, so I've never had bad timing issues.
Overall, I'm very pleased with Zenmarket as a simple merch collector. Shipping cost are fair with ECMS (except for miserable US tariffs that I know they can't control, but they do offer pre-paying for them which makes it much easier, and they do give a breakdown of each item's tariff rate), and I would recommend Zenmarket for buying new and second-hand goods.

They refuse to ship my package even it's under 100 usd, customer service was very rude. Now they offer to dispose my stuffs for "free". I am so fed up. They didn't say that they wouldn't ship anything to the USA. Very misleading.

I've been proxy buying a lot of stuff from Japan for almost a decade now and have used quite a few services (Buyee, SamuraiBuyer, WorldShopping, etc..) to varying degrees of satisfaction,,, until I found ZenMarket !
ZenMarket is easily the best proxy service I've found to date, full stop. They aren't necessarily the fastest proxy service I've ever used however their low rates, fantastic customer service, and intuitive website make ZenMarket my #1 go-too for "get'n the goods" from Japan. It's difficult to articulate but I get the impression they're still a relatively small business and as such you get excellent one-on-one customer care. On the rare occasion I've had an issue they always respond right away and take the extra time to listen and help. They seem to really care about their customers and are always considerate, polite and responsive. They seem to just "get-it".... It's like they're customers too.

I am deeply disappointed with has ZenMarket. This company uses a "bait and switch" strategy: they lure customers with affordable shipping estimates, but once they have your money, they change the rules.
I purchased multiple items, including a used silver pen ($53) and a used necklace ($27). Before purchasing, their official calculator confirmed that affordable shipping (Small Packet) is available for such categories. Based on this, I paid for the items and ZenMarket's commission.
Now, they are using a "substitution of concepts" to overcharge me. They are classifying a used $27 necklace as "precious metal/jewelry" just to block all affordable shipping methods and force me to use DHL. This is absurd for low-value, used personal accessories.
What's even more frustrating is that their support team doesn't even try to find a solution to the situation they created themselves. They only send standard canned responses and refuse to help or take any responsibility. They also flatly refuse to ship my items to a local Japanese address. They have already collected their fees, but now they are effectively holding my property hostage, forcing me to pay for an expensive shipping method I never agreed to.
Do not trust this service; they will trap you once your items are in their warehouse.
Update: Thank you for the reply. I would like to clarify that after my persistent requests, the parcel was finally sent to a Japanese address. Due to this progress, I have already notified the Cross-border Consumer Center Japan (CCJ) that the company has moved towards resolving the conflict, and their further intervention is not required at this time.
However, your company must take full responsibility for your shipping calculator. It is your primary marketing tool, and it must be improved to provide accurate information. Buyers must be informed BEFORE they purchase an item about potential restrictions and expensive shipping methods like DHL. Transparency is required at the point of sale, not after the money has been spent.
I appreciate that the shipment has moved, but I will consider updating my review and rating only after the delivery is confirmed and the condition of the items is verified

When you order your items, they don’t tell you what shipping is.
And I could not get refund on items.
I was stuck to lose my 95 or pay another 90 for shipping!

Very nice system they have - buying on your behalf (for a fair fee of around 3-4 € per item), then packaging and securing the consolidated parcel. I have easy access to all the accompanying documents for the customs.
