Whenever I’m in the area, I come to Zest and have done for well over 10 years. Went yesterday and I think it’ll be the last time. The place is tired. It needs a really good deep clean and paint. It just doesn’t feel clean anymore. Maybe it just needs a good paint and tidy up?

Service was very slow - 45 mins for a couple of burgers and another simple dish which were warm but not hot when they arrived.

The pricing at Zest is on the higher end so I expect more - and the bill includes service charge (tip). Make of that what you will but I don’t think it’s the greatest approach.
Sorry Zest - had some good food here over the years but the last 2 visits have been ‘meh’ at best.

we went this morning for breakfast, thought it was a little expensive but would give it a try
wished we hadnt bothered, the two breakfast we ordered two mini breakfast platters at £11.00 each, one advocado on toast, pot of tea, one flat white and a cappucino, ( if you could call it that) the breakfast served was cooked terribly, and the service was pretty rubbish too, and for 57.00 i would have expected better

Superb Sunday lunch! We chose the roast beef and it was the best restaurant Sunday lunch we’ve had. Beautiful sirloin beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrot+swede mash, green beans, cabbage with pancetta and the most perfectly rich gravy with an extra pot on the side. All for £18. There are lots of places to eat in Lytham but this is by far the best. Lovely friendly service too.

Zest is absolutely superb, the food melts on the tongue and oozes flavour across every dish. The friendly staff provide a thoroughly professional service. Simply fantastic.
