Friendly, took time to make sure all queries were resolved. Can't recommend PayPal Point of Sale (formerly Zettle) enough.
Works great with the card reader or just with the app taking payments on the back of my phone or using a payment link.
One does need to use the website as well as the app though to best see ones payments and flow of money coming through.

Not happy with customer service advisor called Evy.. she passed my complaint to complaints dept only to have it rejected due to me asking for “free” equipment, when really I was asking for help with the new POS and that every time they changed or “rebranded” their company “we” customers have problems with software!! I have had problems with my card reader for a few months,but due to my mum being seriously poorly (end of life) i have not been able to speak to Customer Services plus my card reader is out of warranty, so i explained my situation to the advisor but she said i had to pay for the new card reader of which i replied that i can not “afford” it as i have not been able to concentrate on my business.. I asked for alternative solution but i was not getting with her.. she kept on repeating the same thing over and over again.. so all i said was due to my circumstances IF i can have a machine as a “gesture of goodwill” thats it.. not that can i have it attitude.. anyways they need to be more sympathetic with customers who are struggling!! Also she kept me hanging on the phone for few mins and cutting the call!! She got back after a few days saying that there was a “problem” and she has sent my complaint to her other dept..

If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve been a customer since it was the original izettle and had no problems until they were taken over by PayPal. After purchasing one of the new terminals we went away for the Christmas break and when we came back back and switched the terminal back on we were faced with an error message that the terminal has suffered a security error and that it had to shut down. We contacted Zettle and after a very frustrating and tedious conversation we were told that we had damaged the unit by possibly dropping it on the floor, which we hadn’t. And that we would have to purchase a new terminal.After arguing our case I did indeed purchase a new terminal from them in January 2025. At the beginning of August we came in after the weekend, switched on the terminal and we got exactly the same security error. So six months later the same error. Again I contacted Zettle and explained, after another lengthy conversation we were told that we had damaged the unit. After arguing for quite some time, they agreed to send us a replacement terminal if we returned the faulty one. Couple of days later the new terminal arrived, which I think was a refurbished unit. We had it two weeks and that came up with exactly the same security error. I just couldn’t believe it every single unit that we have had from them is in immaculate condition and almost look like they are brand-new. We have never damaged them and we have never dropped them but this wasn’t accepted by Zettle who even after I raised a complaint of the absolutely disgusting customer service I had received previously. I was told that they were not going to accept my complaint.
My advice to anyone who were contemplating buying a terminal for their business is; I wouldn’t bother. there are plenty of other companies out There are other companies out there that have better customer service, better hardware and cheaper charges. How disappointing that when the company is taken over by PayPal, I am faced with nothing but problems.
