Oh dear...I haven't used Ziffit for a while and in the past were very good. Oh how things have changed. The issue seems with any books that are sent being rejected as damaged or water marks! Also the whole process is painfully slow. Will use other sites instead who offer less but hardly ever reject.Shame but buy buy Ziffit or I should say no buy Ziffit!

mediocre

On occasion they are good offering more than other competitors, HOWEVER on several occasions I have sent brand new books of higher value and each time they are apparently 'damaged' this is a reoccurring issue to the point I've started taking photos of the books before I send them.
Just sent a brand new copy of Arabian nights- particular edition has rough edged pages to mimic how original pages would be- apparently this is 'damaged' several books I've sent that have musical components which I always replaced battery & switched off before sending - always claimed 'not working'
Staff need to educate themselves on switching the musical books on and how particular books are manufactured to replicate rough edging

Didn't pay for any of the books sent

The company have stolen my whole box of books valued at £28.00 and then said none were of good quality. Similar books are for sale on their 'world of books' website for over £70.00 and £20.00 even in 'well read' condition. I have no doubt they will sell them not recycle them. These that had been donated for selling for charity. The company's behaviour is disgusting - they need to be stopped - so many bad reviews say the same - wonder how much the value of all of those taken would be?

Feed up with using this company

Feed up with using this company - they reject perfectly good books that they originally price as high and Ziffit now claim to have not received half of my order whilst receiving the other half from the same box! They did not reply to my e-mail - despite their online promise of replying within 24hrs. Will donate my books to street charities instead.

DO NOT USE Ziffit dishonest company

DO NOT USE. They give you a very low price. Then once they have your books they then give you a ridiculously lower amount than they originally offered. No way to contact them. A chat bot that gives you options that don’t apply to you. Emails take days with no proper answer. Will be deleting the app not recommending. I will never use again.
Very very disappointed. 👎🏻

DO NOT TRADE WITH THIEVES - Blatantly dishonest !!!

They rejected 6 ITEMS on a trade of 9 items, under a array of false reasons. Every single item I sent was in pristine condition, everything was complete. Crooks.

ZIIFFIT ALWAYS CONVENIENTLY REJECTS THE MOST ECPENSIVE ITEMS so they have to pay you less. This is the last time ever I bothered with these crooks.

As I know they will try to have my review removed as they did many times before, always for the same blatant dishonesty, my trade number is 8757093 and I will fight for this review not to be erased. People need to know.

Thought I would try them just once. All my books were collected in one box, but they still claimed that half of them didn't arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obviously there should be a zero star option.

Don’t use this company

Sent items by dropping in lockers. Tracking didn’t follow but Ziffit confirmed receipt. Now 4 weeks on and they are saying ‘not received’.
So Ziffit have stolen the books.
Do not use them.

Scumpany

'What went wrong this time?' What went right this time? They're scammy and will, at some point, you can be sure, tell you they haven't received a higher value item or that the item is damaged in some way. It's happened one too many times to be a coincidence. Disreputable fleabags. If you need to get the money you are owed, you can always buy something of equal value from World of Books (who Ziffit supply to) and afterwards claim you haven't received the item and then sell it on 😜 LOL.

Sold almost 100 CD’s to Ziffit for reasonable prices compared to their competitors and only a handful were rejected. Be aware that they won’t return anything that doesn’t pass their quality checks - not a problem for me as I would have got rid of them anyway but I wasn’t aware of that until after I’d sent them off.
Other than that the app was very easy to use and scan items, arranging courier collection was also easy and payment for the items was sent a few days after they received the package.

Disappointing

They halved the initial offer by saying most of the books I sent were damaged and unsellable. Strange that, as they were bought from WOB which is also their business and I never used the books in the end, so they were in the same conditionas I recieved them in.

Customer service 0/10

Used Ziffit a couple of times 1st time no real issues a couple of books rejected but ok. Trying to send another bundle booked in twice both times it's says courier called nothing to collect which didn't happen. They haven't even acknowledged my 3rd attempt to book or my complaint email. For the pittance they give you it's not worth the effort won't be using them again.

Should have read the reviews first

Should have read the reviews first. With such a consistent bad reputation on Trustpilot you should really ask yourself if all of these people are just making things up. I sent them perfectly good books, I know that because they have just been sat on my shelf unread. Some of them were the most expensive ones that they conveniently rejected. They have no intention to prove this of course. So here we go - Another bad review added.

I have already left an unhappy review

I have left an unhappy review. I had a response from Ziffit asking me to email them with the trade ID, so I did, on 10th June. It has still not been acknowledged... if I have to stop using Ziffit because of this, I will as I have 4 other apps I also sell to... extremely unhappy with this

Service doesn’t work

Don’t waste your time. Service just doesn’t work.

Ziffit booked DPD to collect two boxes of books valued at £100. I’ve waited in on two separate days and both times I’ve had a message from DPD moments before they said they were going to arrive: ‘When our driver arrived we were advised there was nothing to collect’. Both times the driver didn’t ring the bell or speak to a neighbour. I’ve never had this issue with DPD before.

DPD don’t help or offer any suggestions of how to resolve. Ziffit has no one to speak to. The chat support is maddening because it’s a glorified FAQs.

Incredibly frustrating experience all round. Though having now read some of these other reviews I’m glad they didn’t collect!

Repeated failure to collect

I have now on two occasions waited for DPD to collect my box of books and in both instances they have not turned up. After tracking the DPD driver ( on both days), I then had a message to say that the parcel was not ready for collection. They didn’t even come to my address. I’m going to persevere one more time, then it’s off to a charity shop my books go, even though the money would have come in handy. Ziffit, sort it out please. And no, I don’t want to talk to a chatbot, I just want a person who responds positively to my emails!!

Dont do it

I sent 2 boxes of books and like other reviewers was told that some were not in an acceptable condition and over 20 books had not been received. Looks as though a box has gone astray somewhere. This is not the first time I have been told books were not included or not acceptable and there is no way of proving otherwise.

Think carefully before sending anything to this company…

Used this company a few times to sell books. They offer very little money but in theory a simple service to dispose of unwanted items. The last batch I sent (3 boxes) 1/3 of the items (most of the ‘expensive’ ones i.e £1-£3 each) have been marked ‘not received’ and some others ‘rejected’ with no proof offered or returns possible. I am 100% sure that all of the books were included with the shipment. All boxes were marked multiple times with the trade id. It’s theft at worse, poor employee practice at best; either way I want nothing more to do with this company and will not be handing over the next collection booked with DPD (they also make it impossible to cancel a ‘trade’. SELLERS BEWARE
