Update: Customer service reached out to find out how my experience was, and I shared my frustration as someone new to Wordpress as well as my disappointment with the snark on their refund policy page. The customer service rep was responsive and thankful, asking for more information on ways they might improve the experience of users like me. And he was able to assist in getting a refund. So I’ve increased my rating. It will be interesting to see if they improve the product and make their policy page friendlier. My original review follows.

This tool may be fine for a seasoned Wordpress designer who just wants to automate some tasks. But it’s not helpful for a beginner looking for a true drag and drop interface with responsive AI copy. The AI copy was very generic, given how much detail I provided about my business. And all the pages, other than the homepage, were almost blank - minimal AI copy and none of the images I selected for the design. No sections or dividers. And no design tools other than the elements already part of WordPress.
I was even more disappointed to read the snarky wording on the refund policy. I felt incredibly disrespected for trying something that looked promising and trusting in that promise. Shame on them for over promising, under delivering, and making customers feel stupid. Shame on me for not investigating more thoroughly.

It is very easy to get a website made using zipwp. AI does everything for you. You get quite a lot of designs to choose from and the hardest part is deciding which design to choose.
