Negative review for you

Had a very poor experience with zip zero. I have been very loyal with them since the very beginning and scanned thousands of receipts and although I have had some payouts at the very start, lately they have been stopped since May 2024 (a lot similar to many others) and I cannot understand why every time I’ve emailed them and spoke to either Tanya or Nicole they have both said to me that the funding hasn’t arrived yet however it does not take five months for this to get fixed and I just find it absolutely ridiculous on many occasions they have just come back to me and said if you choose to you can stop scanning receipts with the app. They only allow £10 a month and you have to scan at least six receipts a month to to keep an active account and be able to claim £10 Units you have accumulated on a £10 monthly basis which again I think is very stingy and believe because of the complication should be increased. I am losing hope in my ever seeing my money and I am thinking that this is the last straw with them. You email them you don’t get a response and lately I feel like they’ve just disappeared off this earth very recently I also had a dispute where I would claim my £10 however it wouldn’t go towards My bill the following month so I kept querying this. It was escalated to a manager through to a manager though they did nothing about this, Not even apologise to me for the problems they have cause and reassured it won’t happen again, instead they have just said if you want to carry on with the service you can otherwise you have an option to leave and I think this is unacceptable, especially from a manager’s point of view.
I can now understand why there is so much negativity with this app and why people are upset with the way they have treated loyal customers.

Promises were made

Promises were made, yet promises have been broken. As for customers services….There is no one. Emails, Tweets and messages on Facebook have been ignored. This is simply disgusting and an irresponsible way to treat customers who have had your back since day one!!!
Several payouts pending since May 2024 like others who have lost patience..
Defrauded out of our own money !!!

Like many people

Like many people, I have multiple payments outstanding (7) dating back to June, and am just waiting for official confirmation of the inevitable. Have been given multiple payment expectations - all of which have been broken - and am just continuing to scan to see how high I can get the numbers before they admit defeat and shut the door

Disgraceful company!

Disgraceful company!
After managing to scan a ridiculous amount of receipts, I accumulated my first measly £10. I submitted it for payment to my utility account on 10th October and absolutely nothing had happened.
I've made contact on 3 occasions to query this but never get a response.
Save your time and energy folks.

Zip Zero Stopped Paying Out…

Zip Zero have stopped paying out stating funds not coming from their partners although the fund have been “cleared” on the app suggesting they have been paid.

DO NOT USE THIS APP and submit receipts until the issues are resolved.

Non existent customer service

As you can see by a lot of reviews customer service is non existent. If you are having issues with partners then the right thing to do is still send regular updates to customers to keep them informed and still be positive, however it’s sending a negative feel and for that reason I’ve sent in a detailed report to the financial ombudsman to deal with not only the non payments but for me more importantly the non existent customer service recently.

Something bad is happening

Like other people on here, it appears that ZipZero have stopped paying out. I have five payments outstanding, from May this year. I have tried querying this with ZipZero, however, have not received any replies in the last month.
I supported ZipZero during the Covid lockdowns, so I am now quite disappointed that I am being ignored.

NOT PAYING OUT JUST SAY THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH PAYMENT CONSIDERING IT TAKES MONTHS FOR YOUR BALANCE TO CLEAR. PERHAPS COMPANY COULD OF INFORMED ITS CUSTOMERS INSTEAD OF LETTING ME BUILD A BALANCE OF OVER £80. 2ND EMAIL I SENT THEY JUST IGNORED DISGUSTING DO NOT USE

Lack Of Payments

I have mainly had a very positive experience from Zipzero and have so far recieved £338 towards my energy bills (since 2019).
I have become a little frustrated over recent months as there are now 6 payments outstanding from May this year, and when I have had a response from customer support, promises have continually been broken.
I do hope they can survive this and hope its just a hickup, as I like many others have come to rely on it.

This now has all the hallmarks of a scam unfortunately

This now has all the hallmarks of a scam. A LOT of data is coming their way with no evidence whatsoever it isn’t being monetised. Yet since May we’ve had no payouts despite continual broken promises that payments would be made each month. To top this off they have now stopped responding to help requests AND removed their online community from the App likely because the complaints were getting beyond ridiculous. This is the second time they’ve disappeared into the shadows and we were shafted that first time around, so we’re clearly being fooled twice. AVOID!

Zip Zero haven't paid anyone in 6 months

Zip Zero haven't paid anyone in around 6 months now. This is the second time the company has been unable to pay it's users. It seems like the company is about to fold.

Source: see correspondence from Zip Zero support at the end of August below (for payments due in June). Still no payment in October.

"Thank you for reaching out to us about payments.

We wished we had positive news to share with you about the delay of May-June ordered transfers.

The promised funds we were expecting weeks ago are still delayed. Whilst the new expected date for the transfer is now the end of the first week of September, we have no way of guaranteeing that our funders will come through for us.

At this point, we completely understand and respect if you decide to stop scanning or submitting online purchases due to these delays. If you do make this decision, we must stress that your account, along with your accumulated units is safe.

This is also confirmation that no data is being monetised during this period.

We will keep you informed of any further updates and thank you for your patience."

I am still waiting transfer my money…

I am still waiting transfer my money £68 since 01.05.2024. A lot of emails I have been sent to them. Lies after lies I just received every time. I keep all emails and I will be talking with lawyer about this missing payment. Last promise is I should receive the payment until end of September. I left few feedbacks and every time the response is to send them email and they will be resolve my issue. I did and I have only received new promise that never happened. It is since May. Don't trust and please don't lose your time!
