While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

false advertising

I wish there were an option to give zero Stars and I always wonder why is that not possible. They say they're 'zlookup' and advertise as a totally free phone number lookup service, but when you enter a phone number and click search, it takes you to 'beenverified' and 'spokeo', which are not free. False advertising scam and should be reported to the FCC and FTC.

Zlookup appears to have sold out…

Zlookup is sending people to another company for lookups. There is no accuracy or number given, and the other company only wants to be promoted on social media.

I found this in a news article

I found this in a news article, it says this is a free lookup service. Well, it is free, but totally worthless. It is a scam in itself. I looked up this number (804) 727-1134
NORTH CHEST, VA (804) 727-1134 is a landline number serviced by Level 3 Communications, LLC
I can get this information almost anywhere.
On the website, it says no refunds are available. If it is free, why do you look for a refund? It must NOT be free after all.

Worthless

#1 - it's not Zlookup - its actually spokeo and the service is completely worthless. As a test I looked up numbers I knew and the information was completely WRONG.

Time wasters

Tried looking up 2 numbers and they had no names stored for either and didn’t even get the service provider right (I should know as I tested my own number)
