I would give them 0 stars if I could

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Worst wedding website you could possibly go through. They messed up 120 of our “save the dates” and only gave us a partial refund for a negligent mistake they made. Not only did they ruin every single card but the quality of them are horrendous. I would’ve rather printed a picture of my beautiful fiancé and myself and glued it to a piece of cardboard with our wedding date written with a crayon. Absolutely disgusted with this company. I hope nobody else has to go through this before their special day.

UK fam - avoid this company like the plague!

What a terrible customer experience. A whole 12 years after my wedding they are refusing to take down my page. I even sent them my drivers license to prove my identity and they insist I send them my address and telephone number so they can sell it on to some data broker.
I have submitted a complaint to the UK government as they are blatantly not complying with UK data law, GDPR, or CCPA. I suggest others do the same!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I placed an order worth $1200 and they canceled the order without even notifying me. Its all baby related products. When I called the customer service, all they had to say was we are sorry but we cannot fulfill your order.

I cannot believe a brand in todays day and age can have a response like this when an order worth $1200+ is placed on their website. Extremely disappointed, please DO NOT ORDER from Zola.

Registry not UK friendly

Have spent a lot of time designing the website. Got to the registry section and the “add a URL” section won’t allow a UK based registry (prezola) (which is not made obvious on the website/ other reviews). Main concern is that I tried to email Zola about this issue as it says if I contact them they can add the URL for me. What I presume to be a bot named “Flora” parroted that I should add a URL to the registry and did not address the problem at all despite me sending screenshots of this not working.

Zola is THE WORST.

Not worth your time

would never use again. While the website is somewhat easy to use, they misprinted some of my invites and I had to fight for a partial refund. They offer discounts pretty regularly, however The customer service is shit, they only allow you to contact them via phone or email yet they take forever to reply if at all. I wish I read the reviews before using them.

Be aware of Zola practices before you order from Registry

Zola registry is very unhelpful. I ordered for a co-worker. We were suprising her with a luncheon so planned to put everything in a basket as the gift. From the main registry page i clicked add to cart for 10 items. When checking out I had it shipped to me and added my address. immediately I got a message saying the bride and groom had been notified of my order. Apparently, you have to mark to keep it a surprise until after the wedding if you don't want them to be immediately notified who purchased what. Suprise ruined!
That was bad but figured at least I could suprise her with the basket and additional items purchased as fillers. NOPE! Received 4 out of the 10 items. When I inquired I was told the other 6 items were from external websites so the couple would have the money held in an account until they were ready to purchase the other 6 items. If you view the item it does have a note that says this in tiny font at the bottom of the page BUT if you add to cart from the registry page it does not. This was not one item- this was 6 of the 10 items equally a good bit of money that we now cannot wrap up and give them to her and definitely cannot surprise her. This is awful!

Why you always lyin'?

Abysmal customer service and absolutely horrendous experience with finding a wedding registry item I ordered through Zola:

I purchased an item from a couple's registry and it said shipping would be delayed. There was still a chance it would arrive 1.5mo later for the wedding, but if not I could at least mail the item to the couple after the wedding, no big deal. About three days before the item was originally expected, I realized I had never received a shipping update. I reached out to Zola support via email and inquired about it. They told me that the item was successfully delivered to the couple about four weeks ago, even though I had put myself down as the shipping recipient when I placed the order. Zola support didn't provide a tracking number to prove it was delivered either.

I reached out to the bride right away who told me that they were told through updates from Zola the item was delivered to my residence. The couple absolutely never received the item.

I updated the Zola Support about this and they come back with a "Our apologies for the confusion but the item was discontinued!" That's fine, but why tell me the item was delivered? Why be so dishonest with a customer? Instead of providing refunds they convert that value into Zola credit, and I'm pretty sure it was me asking about where the item was that made them convert it. I don't think they would have done that automatically. I hope the couple is actually able to receive whatever they put that credit towards, but I know now to avoid Zola at all costs.

The Wedding Planning Tool I Actually Loved Using

I originally started with The Knot like a lot of people, but quickly realized I needed to switch — and Zola was exactly what I was looking for! The website designs are so much more modern and beautiful, and their tools truly made planning easier and more enjoyable.

RSVPs were a breeze — especially since a few of our older guests prefer paper, but online RSVPs saved us so much stress with lost mail. The guest messaging feature was a lifesaver for collecting contacts and keeping everyone in the loop. We also used Zola’s budget tracker, seating chart tool, and checklist, and those gave me such peace of mind during a busy time.

I know tons of couples planning right now, and I always recommend Zola. It’s practical, user-friendly, and genuinely helpful from start to finish!

Zola London

Zola
Absolute scum .
I have basically been robbed of £170
I orders a linen suit .
I received x2 cheap and nasty polyester jackets, so not only the wrong items but an incomplete order .
I have been going back and forth re emails stating we want to resolve this issue blah blah .
I am angry with myself because the reviews are there for all to see but I read Zola London same as a few people have so didn’t realise it is a Chinese company.
They say send items back and we will refund after 6 weeks of bartering but when I have read further reviews people that have returned items at there own cost I might add have never received a penny, when I pushed them on that they stopped responding full stop .
I am not intelligent enough to know how to take this further and shut these clowns down but if anyone out there is it needs to be done

Site has technical issues; asks gift purchasers invasive questions

Wedding couples: Please do not use this site!

First of all, as Seinfeld used to say, no on is as excited about your wedding as you. If guests don’t already know how you met, how the proposal went, etc., they probably don’t care.

Second, the site has technical issues. The site kept changing my relative’s hotel block link. As a result, guests got a message that no rooms were available. He had to go back and fix it. This happened multiple times. That’s a headache for the wedding couple, guests, and the wedding couple’s parents, who will hear about it from relatives.

Finally, the wedding registry option asks gift purchasers invasive questions. Even if a couple is registered somewhere and they link these items to Zola, guests purchasing items must enter their first name, last name, name of store where purchased, and order number, in order for the item to appear as purchased on Zola. We don’t have time for that. It’s none of Zola’s darned business. And again, no one is excited about your wedding as you are. Don’t get me wrong, people are happy for you. But they don’t want to invest a lot of time into buying a gift when the process should have just taken a few minutes.

Great Registry, Terrible Customer Service: Zola Needs to Step Up

We selected Zola for its cash gift registry feature, which turned out to be a convenient and user-friendly option for our wedding guests. However, our experience took a stressful turn when we tried to withdraw the funds and received an unexpected email requesting identification. Alarmed by this and unsettled by some worrisome online reviews, we grew increasingly nervous about proceeding. Hesitant to share our ID without reassurance, we attempted to reach Zola for clarification—only to discover that none of the listed phone numbers worked, leaving us stranded without support.

We were left with a difficult choice: abandon the registry entirely or send our ID and hope for the best. Reluctantly, we chose to submit our information, and fortunately, the transfer was approved and processed smoothly, with the funds arriving in our bank account as promised. That said, the complete lack of responsive customer support was a major red flag—unprofessional, frustrating, and honestly made us question Zola’s legitimacy at the time. It’s an area they urgently need to improve, and I hope this feedback helps them address it for the sake of future users. Despite this ordeal, we were ultimately pleased with the online cash registry itself, which functioned flawlessly for our guests and met our expectations.
