Scam at Zorro Restaurnat
⚠️ Organized Scam at Zorro / Hyde Hotel
I’m sharing my experience so others don’t fall into the same trap.
I matched with a woman on Tinder who insisted we meet at Zorro, Hyde Hotel (Business Bay). From the moment we arrived, she received unusual “VIP” treatment from the staff.
She ordered around ten double Blue Label shots, several tequila shooters, and food — all without really consulting me.
At one point, a woman walked by with a huge bouquet of roses, and my date simply took it without asking me.
Within 45 minutes, the bill had climbed to over AED 8,000.
The strangest part: the bill was handed directly to me, and my date didn’t look surprised at all — as if it had all been planned.
Oddly enough, every single drink ordered was among the most expensive items on the menu.
Afterward, I found many online reviews describing the exact same pattern:
A woman from a dating app insists on going to Zorro.
She orders top-shelf alcohol (often Blue Label).
The staff hand the inflated bill to the man and pressure him to pay.
It’s clear there’s a setup between the restaurant and these “companions” to scam unsuspecting guests.
⚠️ Warning: If a date suggests going to Zorro or a similar lounge — don’t go.
This is a well-organized scam.
Don’t trust the restaurant’s fake positive reviews!
