With 20 years travel experience to Southern Africa we wanted a trip to the western part of South Africa: Karoo, richtersveld, west coast, cederbergen, baviaanskloof.
Sandra, our ZA Specialist consultant for several trips in the regio, knows our needs and limitations and designed an 8-week trip that fit our wishes perfectly.
During the trip she guided us and helped us when there were problems.

Why not 5 stars? The trip was at several points very challenging, maybe too much for 73-74 guys. But that cannot be blamed on ZA Specialist; as we asked for it.....

Lies did a wonderfiull job for us, fullfilling all our dreams and wishes. The lodges where we stayed were excellent and thanks to detailed description of the trip it was no problem to find our way in South-Africa. Thank you so much! Wishes coming true were lodges in or close to game reserves, not too long drives per day, 30 days on holiday and keeping it all within budget. The proposal to fly from Durban to Port Elizabeth was also excellent. So if you are planning to arrange your own trip through SA then the Zuid-Afrika specialist is an excellent choice!

We travelled to SA for 19 days, with a Navi Berth camper, which we hired through Zuid Afrika Specialist. We organised the trip, campsites and parks by ourselves (which is doable if you like some adventure; it was a great experience). The contact and service by the company was anyway excellent.

We have enjoyed our holiday, but the bowl
of Capetown is very difficult for disabled people. The roads and sidewalks are too impassable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

Zuid-Afrika specialist is listening to its customer and provides a customized trip for every budget. Always willing to change even minor things and always giving advices.
This is the second (or in fact the third trip because the second was cancelled) they organized for us and we wil sure find our way again to Arthur when the next trip is comming.

The Zuid-Afrika Specialist put together a wonderful trip for us, tailored to our wishes. They take their time with you, and the initial meeting was via Teams. This makes communication pleasant and accessible from the start. The Zuid-Afrika Specialist takes their time with you and employs excellent, knowledgeable staff. They also know the countries well, which immediately puts you in good hands.

We had a fantastic holiday, thanks in part to the excellent organization of everything by the Zuid-Afrika Specialist.

We contacted Zuid-Afrika specialist to organize a 15-day trip to the West and East Cape. We had first an intake with Lies, a Flemish lady living in South-Africa, to discuss our expectations, our preferences and wishes.
Based on that, we received a very detailed program with multiple options to choose between. Also the price was very transparent (included or extra, sur-price in case of choosing another location, so no surprises). We had 3 iterations with Lies to come to a final program.
And then Zuid-Afrika specialist took it all over for the bookings and reservations, very easy. And during the trip no problem at all, everyone was aware of our arrival or booking, everything went smoothly.
Our local guide Clayton was also super: professional, enthusiastic and flexible if we wanted a (small) deviation from the program so that we discovered also not foreseen things.
As a conclusion, superbly organized and great service!

Our trip to South Africa and Botswana was well prepared by Lies from the Zuid-Afrika specialist. During video consultations, our wishes were discussed and adjusted. We also received helpful tips to ensure a pleasant journey. Very professional! Highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit South Africa and Botswana. All campsites and hotels were conveniently pre-booked and paid for in advance. Thank you for the wonderful trip!

It was our first time in South Africa, celebrating our 40th Wedding anniversary! Our time there was in all manners excellent. We felt welcome and taken care of, so there was no stress. Our driver James made us feel comfortable and explained a lot about his wonderful country. We had good food and good stays and saw the big 5! South Africa we will be back!

We made a great trip in South Africa. After that we flew to Mauritius. A beautifull island with very friendly people. Sandra from Zuid Afrika Specialist advised us very good.

Even though we only booked a rental car with Zuid-Afrika specialist they were very helpful with all our questions. And every reaction was very fast as well.

Very good consultation, fair prices and special accommodations. We got in touch about the rental car and ended up re-planning the overall 2 weekend itinerary, booked several accommodations and got valuable tips on activities, other stays, domestic flights etc. Thanks to Sandra we avoided quite a few mistakes (it was our 1st time in SA) and our trip was very enjoyable and rewarding.

I stumbled upon Zuid-Afrika Specialist a little by chance online and some initial doubts were quickly dispelled. The advice and suggestions were very well tailored to our needs, budget and preferences (family with 3 teenagers). It was a longish process to define the route and the stops, and I also booked some other overnight stays directly myself.

Above all, I had the impression that she really cared about us having a good time and not just about “closing the deal”.

We had a great time in South Africa, especially in the West Kaap. All super well arranged by Lies! Perfect.

We have had a great holiday with Zuid Afrika Specialist. We didn't had experience or reference on what we could expect with travelling intercontinental and they guided us great through our journey.
