Very bad experience - damages caused and not repaired

Almost two months ago, Zurich sent workers to my apartment to investigate a supposed water leak. During the intervention, they broke tiles in my bathroom and dismantled part of my kitchen.

In the end, it was confirmed that the leak was NOT coming from my apartment, but from the neighbor below.

Despite this, I am still living with a damaged bathroom and dismantled kitchen. No one has come to repair what was broken. I have called multiple times and sent messages, but there has been no real follow-up or solution. Horrible horrible service, I am sending them messages all over social media they are hiding comments, but I will not give up.

Zurich do not pay out on Travel Insurance

Is it possible to have such bad customer experience? My own is that I took out Travel Insurance in good faith making sure that it covered cancelled holidays which Zurich assured me it would. Shortly before going on holiday I was diagnosed with a serious illness and had to cancel my holiday. Zurich refused to payout.

very, very poor service

Firstly after the first year they increased the cost of our policy by 50 euros. Zurich agent we were given to contact told us they had no information or details of our policy and to deal with Zurich. Now we need to make a claim we contacted Zurich direct because the agent does not answer the phone. First call after explaining we need to talk in English they cut the call. We called back and had to have a 3 way conversation on a very bad line because this National insurance company has no english. We explained we had no water to the house. First they tried to say we have no cover for this problem when we do. Then they said a plumber will call us within an hour because no water in the house is an emergency. No plumber called, no one came and we have heard nothing.
We have had to fix the problem ourselves. So for over 400€ a year we get no insurance cover. They did not listen and were very rude. I will cancel this policy as soon as I can. Please do not go with this company.

I cancelled my holiday insurance

I cancelled my holiday insurance. I have not received a refund. I called zurich and they said I had to contact Booking.com.
I called Booking.com and they said I had to contact zurich. I think this is ridiculous, and they should not be allowed to mess customers around like this. Perhaps ONE OF THEM could call me about this.

Used this company for travel insurance

Used this company for travel insurance, I incurred €700 medical expenses and got an email to claim it off EHIC which they know does not cover private medical treatment. If I could give them MINUS 5 stars it would be too high of a rating. I will be advising everybody I know to avoid them.

The worst insurence company you can find.

Had an accident with my car and because of Zurich it took 6 months to get my car back. I had a rental car for all the time that had to pay for myself. Zurich only payed for 5 days, this not what it says in the policy of the insurence. And after that they dont respond when they are contacted.

Monzo Premium / HORRENDOUS. !!!😡😡😡,, been with Monzo for a very long time, the bank side amazing, WELL WAS, well until something goes wrong, Premium side,, Horrendous - took out the premium, after being with Monzo with many years and trusted them, so cancelled my holiday insurance with my trusted high street bvak, took out the premium mostly for the travel insurnace (especially as it states STRESS FREE) well that’s a massive joke - there under insured with ZURICH A bigger joke. Last weekend I was flying with EasyJet at 10pm flight was totally cancelled - not offered nothing - not offered another flight, basically just told go home, so in total limbo, and no representatives around, Did try and find another flight, all booked or two many days away. So put in claim as you do, only for my hotel £295,,, yes I could have also claimed for expenses - lost transfers - and flights : but thought I’d just keep it to the hotel. Well as easy jet didn’t offer me another an alternative flight (which they never do) there not gonna pay, according to Dewi ZURICH REP, how do I prove they didn’t offer me another flight, of course if they did I’d take it, easyJet are no frills - we expect that, but don’t expect No Frills With MONZO AND ZURICH,,,so short part of the story is - this is just a tiny amount, and a genuine claim. So as much as you think you’ll be covered with ZURICH - and stress free, you probably won’t be.
Go back to your credit cards or big banks for cover. And do not TRUST OR RELY ON MONZO OR ZURICH AS THEY WILL LET YOU DOWN.

Terrible telephony service offered for…

Terrible telephony service offered for ex-pats. I telephoned their home insurance department 6 times today to finally get through to an agent who was able to obtain the, it seems, only interpreter. Annoyingly the previous calls had all ended in me being cut off following a lengthy hold. This is not the first time during the period of the claim that I have had the same problem.
I just hope that the information I have been given is correct.

Travel Insurance of Zurich is nothing more than a Fraud!

We have bought a travel insurance from Zurich via booking.com in June 2022. Due to illness of one of the travellers, we had to cancel the trip. Since then we have sent over 15 emails to different departments of Zurich and they kept asking over and over for the same documents. After almost 4 months, we still dont have any clear answer. Every time someone answers in different language ( already they answered in Spanish, German, English,..) and asking again for the same documents that we have provided 15 times! I believe this insurance is a total fraud! Be careful and dont trust on booking.com neither while buying an insurance from them! They just think about their own benefit.

Very bad in Spain

Very bad in Spain. They advertise you speak in your own language but if you call them no one speaks Deutsch or Englisch. They work via Deutsche Bank in Spain and you must open a very expensive account there before they serve you. So you better look for another insurance company!
