Zuver Hosting and Domains Reviews 4

Was a long-time user. Have to use the past tense hence VentraIP, Zuver's parent company, a few months ago decided to sunset its budget brand Zuver and merge with it.
But I still thought it would be a good idea to write my review here. I liked Zuver very much, great and professional service and I hope VentraIP would look after Zuver's customers and keep providing the same great service (and hopefully even better).

Been using these guys for over 5 years. They are great value and australian. They get better every year and to be honest any issues Ive had have been resolved relatively quickly.

They are the backbone of my business.

Been hosting with this company for about 2 years, from day one their customer service has been bad, however what made me change companies to crazydomains was, I contacted their support team as I needed to upgrade my allocations and their control panel wouldn’t allow me to do it. I received a stick standard (cut n paste) reply that did nothing to help fix the problem.

This lead to my services being stopped for just over 24 hrs, we receive a lot of last minute emails for work, in that time we lost two full days of work for multiple staff members because of their ‘support’. No remorse, no apology.

We have moved to crazy domains, gives us a bigger allocation for cheaper compared to zuver and their support so far has been amazing. Migrated everything no questions asked.

Pros:
• Excellent value
• Great responsive support - I've used their support a number of times and have been impressed almost every time
• Good servers - not the newest hardware, but not overloaded, nor aggressively throttled
• Excellent uptime - some of the most reliable hosting I have ever used - up there with bluehost for reliability!

Cons:
• No live chat
• They still haven't fixed their server status email notification system for informing you of scheduled server maintenance, and it doesn't look like they have any plans to either.
• No longer sells WHM hosting
