Awful experience and bent knives

Awful experience, and after they sent an email asking for my review on their website, they deleted it. Knives came with several of them bent, and different finishes for the same handle (some were rough and some were smooth and polished). The knives they sent for exchange were also bent -- so at that point I just returned everything. Takes hours on the phone, the product / quality is no longer what it used to be (we have the exact same knives we ordered years ago that are great). Says 7-10 business days to get a refund... I called after 2.5 weeks and was told it was waiting to be "approved" and they didnt know when the supervisor would "approve" the return. Horrible experience - be VERY careful with purchasing knives from them, and definitely check that what you are getting is consistent with straight blades.

High Quality Products

Bought a new knife set, the modernist 13-piece set, and it is the best knife set I’ve owned. The beautiful design and solid piece design makes it perfect for. It only aesthetics but food prep. There is a knife for everything possible and even a pair of kitchen scissors which are perfect for quickly cutting green onions. Hands down this is a set that you don’t want to miss out on. There is even a knife sharpening service reasonably priced to keep your knives sharp and a great warranty.

Products arrived damaged

Products arrived damaged. Customer service deeply unhelpful and have no interest in providing an acceptable resolution.

Would recommend going for other brands.

Orders cannot be cannot be cancelled hours after being placed.

I ordered a set of cookware this Sunday afternoon, tried to cancel first thing Monday and was told by agent and her supervisor that the order cannot be canceled. That policy was buried in their language and was not made clear or in any way obvious while i was purchasing. I would avoid this company like the plague with such objectionable policies. I have contested the charge with my credit card and I recommend the same

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied…

I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the purchase of the wok. Wok functionality and performance is rated as zero. Stainless material is not to the standards at all. Upon using for couple times only I emailed customer service and they responded back with how to take care manual of the wok. I send them multiple photos of the defective wok. I wrote them multiple emails but to no attempt replied me rudely that it has no warranty. Also after a few times usage the wok got discolored. I would never recommend zwilling product to anyone. The rating should be ZERO not ONE star.

Subpar Products sold at Premium Prices

Purchased a 5qt tall cocotte. Used it approximately 5 times and the exterior has chips and the inside is stained. Tried a warranty request and was denied. This was my first Staub product and will be my last. They produce sub-par products that they do not stand by.

They sell used/open box as new

I opened a package of a few knives ordered direct from the zwilling online website/store, several months after I ordered it. Too late to return. Had I known how scummy Zwilling was I would've opened immediately.

For one of my knives, these dirtbags literally sent me a knife wrapped in some thick brown packing paper - I bought and paid for a NEW knife. No factory packaging, just some thick wrapping paper with rubber bands to hold in place.

Other knife was a clearly previously opened and damaged package. Again, I paid for a new knife.

Only one of the three was actually "New in Box"

Totally dishonest company. Not buying any knives from them ever again. I will reiterate this was bought from their official site - not some third party vendor/site.

7 qt cherry crocette unacceptable

I ordered a 7qt crocette in cherry the boxes the item was shipped in wasn’t damaged but the crocette has a huge gauge all the way down one side and the knob was discolored, it was used and was really packed like that hoping the buyer wouldn’t return it

Awful Quality & Customer Service

Purchased a knife set as Henckels were recommended. I managed to drop the utility knife and upon hitting the granite floor, the knife bent quite significantly at the end. I decided to try and straighten it in a vice as it was unusable and wouldn’t even fit in the block any longer. Unfortunately the end snapped clean off. Having dropped a few knifes over the years, this is the first to suffer any major damage and makes me question how well made they are. I accepted it was my fault and contacted ZWILLING to see about purchasing a replacement. This is the response:

Thank you for your email and sorry to hear that you've accidentally damaged our knife.

Unfortunately the paring knife is not an item that is sold individually and only comes as part of the whole 14pc set.

Please accept our sincere apologies that we are unable to assist you on this occasion.

Very disappointing response - So basically I have to live without a knife in a set that is only a couple of months old - no alternative options. I think I’ll look to gradually replace the set with a more reputable brand over the coming months.

Bunch of thieves

I would also, like others on this site, would like to have given less than a 1 star review. I had to return an online order because one of the products was broken and the other was not at all what I thought…horrible cheap version of henckels knives. So I wanted to change them for others that I know were much better. Everything is smooth sailing until it’s refund time…always an extra 5-7 business days for a refund. I had to return all promotional products even though I ended up purchasing a more expensive set of knives. The online store didn’t have the knives I needed, so I had to go to the store which is 2 hours away. I don’t think I will buy from henckels ever again…there are other comparable brands out there…so sad…BTW - all this after I spent 1000’s within a couple of months at their stores/online store.

Super Customer Service

Had a problem with a, not-inexpensive toaster, that I purchased only a few months ago. Immediately customer service at Zwilling arranged for the faulty item to be returned and today I received a brand new toaster as a replacement.
All emails I sent were immediately replied to.
- by named agents (so much nicer than the usual anonymous comms we often get).
Am extremely impressed and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from Zwilling again.

Wish They Cared

I placed an order. I realized I ordered the wrong set (I actually wanted a more expensive one). Within a minute of receiving the email I saw this and called and spoke with someone. I offered to pay the extra for the correct set or asked them to cancel the order so I could order again but somehow they couldn't cancel the order. This happened Thursday afternoon. Friday morning someone called to tell me sorry, it had already shipped so they couldn't cancel. Right after the call I received an email saying it had just shipped. Now I'm left waiting for the delivery and then I have to follow up to return it. This process made me not want to order from them again and certainly not recommend them. For this kind of money you'd think they'd be more customer focused. The person I spoke to was fine, it's the process that needs improvement.

if it were possible to give less than…

if it were possible to give less than one star I would. they refuse to honour promo codes they give you, then when you return the (unopened) product they makes excuses for months at a time as to why they can not process a refund, every 10 days they tell you it will be another 7 -10 days. I have had to to a dispute with my credit card company. might be ok products but they are nothing less than theives

Cust Svc Dropped the Ball!

Disappointed by Cust Svc unresponsiveness. I bought the Zwilling automatic salt & pepper grinder set & it broke after about 8 months. The grinding arm within the salt grinder wore down. I called store where I bought it and they referred me to Zwilling cust svc. Cust Svc told me the grinders were back-ordered. They took my name, email and phone number & said I was on their list for replacement once back in stock. Never heard back. 😡 Probably will not buy Zwilling products again.

Do not order Zwilling unless you're 100% sure
I ordered 2 items from Zwilling on June 3. They created a tracking number then canceled it. I called to enquire and found out that 1 item of my order was not in stock. I asked them to cancel that item. The agent assured me that the item was canceled and provided an email with a new tracking number for the other item. 2 days later I received a tracking number for the item I canceled. When I called, I was told that once a tracking number is created they cannot cancel the order. They said they can't cancel the order once a tracking number has been created and cannot cancel part of an order, only all of it. Now I have to wait for the item to be received, then call them to send me a return label, then I have to ship it back to them and then once they have received it, they will post a refund on my card. So now I'm out $300 for god only knows how long. Awful. I wish I had read other posts on here before I ordered from them. Don't do it unless you're sure.

Never order directly from the Zwilling…

Never order directly from the Zwilling website. Especially from the Belgian one. The service client of the Belgian branch does not have a phone number of contact and they don't answer emails. The only delivery method is dpd which are the worst delivery company. My package never arrived and there was no other way to contact nor Zwilling, nor dpd than by forms and emails which don't respond. I lost my money.

Bad stuff and worst customer service

Bough there air fryer in store, there was a factory issue with it as it didn't work at all. They store told us to deal directly with the company. Horrible customer service and they wanted me to pay to mail them the broken air fryer (60$ to mail) when I bought it in store.

Too bad, no order cancellations

Zwilling wouldn't cancel an online order just moments after I placed it. The agent gave me the whole, "We're sorry it's already being prepared to ship." I call BS. All it would take is a quick communication with the warehouse. This is just a profit centric business model that makes cancellations and returns costly and inconvenient for customers, in hopes that they'll give up and just keep the product they don't need.
