Poor Quality & Abysmal Customer Service

I purchased the winter berry wreath online which became damaged after exposure to poor weather within 2 weeks of purchase even though being sold as outside / inside option. Despite this, the retailer refused to offer a full refund and instead made successive offers of 25% and then 50% of the purchase price.

Product - poor but customer service has been abysmal, particularly the attempt to resolve the matter through partial refunds rather than addressing the issue properly.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this retailer due to their handling of faulty or damaged goods and customer service.

Ordered 24 gem squash! Haven’t eaten these in forever and they were beautiful! Thanks to Savanna for prompt and careful delivery and beautiful quality produce. Honestly, they were as good as I remembered!

Ah, Fortnum & Mason – Masters of the Missed Occasion

Ordered a Father’s Day hamper weeks ago, because silly me, I assumed Fortnum & Mason, with all their pomp and heritage, might actually be capable of delivering something on time. Turns out, I could’ve had better luck strapping a bow on a tin of beans and sending it via pigeon.

Still no hamper. Still no action. Still no clue from their customer service team, who appear to be operating from a different century — possibly the 18th. I suppose I should be grateful I wasn’t offered tea and sympathy by candlelight while they “look into it.”

If you’re after stress, disappointment, and a complete lack of accountability, look no further. F&M delivers, just not to you, and certainly not on time.

EDITED REPLY: Purchased Edith bathroom light which clearly had a manufacturing fault. Reported to company and suggestion was to see if I could bend the light back into shape. That’ll be a ‘no’.

Great Experience

Have used VP a few times over past couple of years and have had a great experience each time. Website is excellent, ordering is easy and tracking of items is simple enough. If I have had any issues the process and customer service has been excellent. So all in all customer experience has been pretty great!

Dreadful Experience

Just Wow and not in a good way!
So I receive a tatty box with a pair of worn boots and wrong size. Email Office with photos, correctly return them, have to chase them for refund and still waiting. They are awful!!!

I can not begin to tell you how angry I am with these jokers! Paying for installation of dishwasher then being told it’s the wrong one, then buying another one and being told to buy another one! These are delivery drivers not technical experts!

Oh dear, what a dismal experience. Inability to receive an order and process on time. Customer service is a car crash but marks out of ten for being able to send customers into orbit from sheer frustration in trying to resolve costly mistakes.

First time we have ever used a hot-tub. Hired for a week and used by 12, 30 year old ladies celebrating a birthday and my goodness the hot-tub was used! It was a new product, fantastic quality, great service and spot on with delivery and guidance.

Disappointing Customer Service

When no issues with goods be that delivery or quality then BrandAlley are great value. Concern around BrandAlley's business practice on not reimbursing a customer until they've dealt with the supplier. What they forget is that our relationship is with BrandAlley and NOT the supplier. This becomes very frustrating. Still waiting for over £200 refund for non delivery of a lamp which has now left a really bad taste in my mouth in my trust for this company.
