Appalling Delivery Service – Parcel Delivered to Wrong Address

My parcel was delivered today (Saturday 28/02/26) to the wrong address. Fortunately, the gentleman who received it kindly brought it to my home. He informed me that the delivery driver had thrown the parcel over his gate during heavy rain. Luckily, he was at home and able to retrieve it before it was damaged. He then noticed it was addressed to me and very kindly drove it to my house.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Delivering to the wrong address and throwing parcels over gates in poor weather is unprofessional and careless.
I expect this matter to be addressed and the driver to be spoken to regarding proper delivery procedures. Based on this experience, I am very disappointed with the service provided by DPD and will reconsider using your company in the future. Customers, please be aware before choosing this service!

Be Aware of Unethical Practices

I paid in full for a couple of items from this online retailer, Tulip Interiors, and on neither occasion were the goods supplied. Only after repeatedly chasing a representative named 'Patrick' over several weeks during which I was repeatedly assured that "your order will be with you soon" did it become apparent that the orders were not going to be fulfilled.

Tulip Interiors continues to advertise and accept full payment for products that appear to be out of stock or discontinued. Such items should not be listed as available for purchase. Allowing consumers to place orders and pay in full for goods that cannot be supplied raises serious concerns regarding compliance with UK consumer protection legislation, including obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to deliver goods within a reasonable timeframe and to ensure that goods offered for sale are as described and genuinely available.

Furthermore, the provision of repeated assurances without delivery, coupled with the continued acceptance of payment for unavailable goods, may amount to a misleading commercial practice under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.

This conduct is wholly unacceptable, demonstrates a disregard for consumer rights, and reflects extremely poor and concerning trading practices. I would strongly caution other consumers before purchasing from this business!

Poor Attitude From Customer Service Agent

The reason I have given one star is because of the attitude of the customer service agent Catherine on 11/03/25. The moment she picked up the call it was obvious that she couldn't be bothered with the call. Perhaps, this customer service agent should be given training to be courteous on the phone to customers.

It goes without saying that friendliness and a cheerful attitude are important aspects of having a pleasant, professional phone call. Customers would appreciate talking to kind, positive people. In a professional setting, the tone and demeanor over the phone reflect the image of the company as a whole but unfortunately, the customer service agent's terrible attitude wasn't a positive outlook for Cover My.

After searching high and low for car insurance for my Lotus Emira Turbocharged I4, Admiral was able to provided me with the most competitive quote. Sarah the Customer Service Agent who dealt with me on the phone was efficient and most helpful. She was able to respond to my questions and queries in a professional and courteous manner. Thank you, Sarah 😊 Without hesitation, I would recommend Admiral for good value and competitive car insurance especially for high performance cars when other insurance companies were quoting astronomical and ridiculous prices.

Voronoi II Linear Triple Pendant

I purchased the Voronoi II Linear Triple Pendant for my breakfast bar and I absolutely love it! The bulbs stand out and it’s a beautiful masterpiece in my kitchen! Although, the packaging was very good, the element in one of the bulbs wasn’t working. Claire Wilson in Customer Support was great. She sent me another bulb immediately (Thank you, Claire!). In summary the product is classy, great customer support, delivery was fast and I love my Voronoi II Linear Triple Pendant – I’m glad I bought it. What more can you ask for!
