Locked out of our account

Locked out of our account, I assume since the TSO migration. Login says email or password incorrect, password reminder says no account found, try to create an account, says the account already exists. Absolute utter shambles, no way to raise a ticket, because you need to be logged in. TSO leaving a trail of disaster as usual. I hope this business dies a death very soon, can't wait to take our custom elsewhere.

Logged in to 123reg.com to renew URL…

Logged in to 123reg.com to renew URL that has been online 3 year contract. Made payment, tried to upload files and could not do so!? Logged back in and was informed that I had to pay 'Big Daddy' £94.99 to purchase the IP address! I was never informed that my sites name was being migrated and required to be insured for it not to be sold on prior to renewing! They have not responded to any of my emails requiring repayments made due to not being informed I would have to pay an additional extreme amount to renew the address! Never use this company as I think it is criminal what they are/not doing!!!

Lost Domains

Late last year and early this year 123-reg migrated to a new system. After billing twice for two domains that were important to us they successfully lost both and they were re-registered and put up for sale. After months of no response from support despite chasing several times we were finally offered the opportunity to take two new different domains for one years free registration but the domains we wanted and had held for 20 years were gone. What a cheek! Dont trust this company to look after your domains.

Meaning they now ignore the ticket and never reply to the issue further on the basis they have answered it!!

I bought a domain with Arvixe many…

I bought a domain with Arvixe many years ago, it was then moved to TSOHost, now it's been moved to 123Reg, and I can't log in there to renew it because I have never had an account with them.

At no point during this migration was I made aware of it happening. Now my 15 year old site is down and I can't get in to 123reg to renew my domain or move it to my hosting provider.

I have had to create an account and submit a ticket, and so far it's been an hour, on a very time critical issue that they are entirely responsible for, a company that I never agreed to work with, a company I never signed any agreement with.

This should be criminal.

Lost dozens of domain names after they removed username login

I have used 123-reg for years, with no problems. I took a break from web work and in the meantime someone decided it would be a good idea to remove username login and only accept email login. I have not been able to log in since. Email addresses not found, and forgot password feature not working for the same reason. No emails from them about anything any longer including renewing domains. Support no help. As a result I have lost dozens of valuable domain names.

They were so bad then ...worse now...

to the point they have tried to fudge trustpilot with 123reg vs 123-reg ...FFS !!!

So, be warned, ....I have posted this on both of their "Accounts" ...
My website was offline regularly, which as a Web Based business was more than just annoying - it costs me in income !

Dreadful service worse support...I left them to go to EUKHost - Night & Day and still with them..

I left a couple of domains I had bought - and forgot, when in Nov 24 I decoded to use thm I contacted 123reg through their customer ticket system....and ....silence, even with phone call and chase ups.

I turned to EUKHost - not their problem 123 wouldn't do anything to help tranfer, but, EUKHost talked me through 123s system !!! . and guided me to find the IPS Tag helped me change it and showed me other things again in 123s system to give them the information.

Roll forward a few days.

EUKHOst have done the domain transfers, and activated them so working etc, I get a response from 123reg saying they have my tiket and will be in touch...

NOTHING CHANGES - they are as useless as they always were / are, and it just re inforced that me getting away from them was the best thing I ever did for my business. Cheap for a reason lol

And in prob 15 years - my website has never been hacked / down etc with EUKHost and their support is just staggeringly good

Terrible Service - Avoid

It’s disappointing how much 123 Reg support has declined. They used to be reliable, but over the past year, they’ve become nearly impossible to deal with. A recent domain transfer was completely mishandled, and support was unhelpful and indifferent. We ended up losing all email and internet services because of their incompetence, and the only response we got was “it should start working in a few minutes” before they automatically closed the case. Unsurprisingly, 36 hours later, the issue still isn’t resolved. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. Avoid them if you can.

Going backwards. Sold It's Soul.

Have been with them for 20 years and always rated them highly. However service seems to have gone backwards dramatically. Simple things that used to work, no longer do. Support staff don't seem care any more. Another British company that sold its' soul.

Computer says no......

Been with them 10+years and spent literally thousands on services with them and today they lost all the goodwill they built because they wouldn't enable human intervention to solve a minor procedural issue - this drive towards keeping clients at the end of a chatbot or email has become beyond a joke...123reg have lost their customer centric way sadly, a slippery slope to eventual oblivion for them...

TSOhost buyout

Since the company I host with (TSOhost) has announced the buyout to 123reg the service has become abysmal. I've had an ongoing issue of a duplicate products and getting them cancelled and refunded and the team at TSOhost all appear incredibly disengaged since the announce take over. It's really disappointing to see a company I've been with 16 years become so poor in service and support.

Cancellation of my website needs When I first signed up to 123 reg…

When I first signed up to 123 reg webhosting package and domain name set up with web builder package, I had specific plans in mind for my website.
However. Due to numerous financial constraints imposed since covid 19 and its connections to Corporate Greed, it has become impossible to continue using 123 reg.
So today I contacted 123 reg via their chat bot service and requested to cancel everything. I spoke to one of their agents named STEPHEN. Who willingly helped me through the cancellation process. He did not waste time wanting reason why I wished to cancel, but simply performed my request without hesitation and for that I give him 10 out of ten for his assistance in cancelling my website. Thank you Stephen for you prompt action.
Furthermore, I wish to add that my reasons for cabcellation of 123 reg services has nothing to do with the quality and support of 123 reg. I believe they are a good company and would recommend them as host for any website enthusiast in the future.
Therefore, I wish to thank 123 reg for all their support in enabling me to set up a potential website which by my own admission was not carried forward to final submission. Just to be clear to potential cudtomers
This is no fault of 123 reg or its staff and services. I am thankful for them.

Absolutely disgusting company

Absolutely disgusting company

Charged my card despite not having an account with them, refused to allow me to speak to the complaints department because "you have to have an account". They were deliberately unhelpful, wouldn't pass me onto anyone else. I will be taking this further to the police as it is very obviously fraud. The customer service is horrendous.

Was charged for renewed domains I turned off multiple times, mysteriously all billing vanished. They keep taking money from my account and the customer service is DISGUSTING.

Please do not use them

Please do not use them. I am an unbiased business person and I've used many different domain registrars, and 123-reg for whatever reason has gotten extremely, extremely unreliable. Please use any other company.

This operation has got much worse since…

This operation has got much worse since selling to GoDaddy.
I used to have about 50 Domains managed by them very well. I shall shortly remove all of them for incompetence. I am a Global Traveller and wont be bothered to have to call these lazy people from Countries all over the world. Its a shame because they were very good for several years. They are hopeless now.. Dont renew my Domains with a perfectly valid card. REALLY ANNOYING

Since the recent migration we have lost…

Since the recent migration we have lost access to our .help domain 123reg no longer support .help!

Constantly trying to get somewhere.
After talking with a 123 tech, I was told the domain was transferred to hexonet as we didn't transfer ourselves, fine , contacted hexonet to find out it failed transfer as 123 got the auth code wrong (3 times!). Called the registrar listed on whois only to find they where bought by GoDaddy.. 123reg are now using the GoDaddy system yet they choose to move our domain to a US/GERMAN company!!
The Escalation team are a joke, nothing actioned or updated after over 2 weeks of chasing.

What's funny, GoDaddy supports .help and 123reg are still selling .help domains , they had the nameservers down as GoDaddy name servers too long before all this.

Account communication

Like many here I have recently been locked out of account. No email correspondance. Security check is a joke. I eventually found a tax return from 2007 as they required the address form 17 years ago. If and when this is resolved I will migrate ASAP. Any recommendations?
