1310 - add-on

Simply needed an additional Wi-Fi booster to cover the odd shape of my house. Getting one from 1310 was easy, all handled in a couple of days, most of which was postage. Plug'n'Play wasnt a lie in this case.

I would highly recommend 1310!

Matt worked wonders in installing the necessary cabling in our flat, and with everything back in place you wouldn't know he had been other than we had super fast broadband! Excellent service from ordering through to installation, and I'm sure this will continue!

Great service

Had a problem with my upload on weekend. I called on Monday and Tuesday 1310 sent a Technician to fix the problem. Thanks guys for quick response. My apologies for not being patient. Excellent service

No BS Service Provider

Good communication, Internet speeds are really good. No BS other packages and add ons. You get what you pay for and they don't try and sell you any crap you don't need. Quick responders if you ever have any trouble.

Only issue is the router they provide is a bit weak. We only live in a small flat and the signal doesn't reach that far. Easily resolved with a WiFi booster, alternatively you can buy your own router that has better WiFi coverage.

Switchers beware, but its could be good for some.

I'm a prospective customer who has done some homework, and found that although 1310 will provide Fibre To The Premises (FTTP / FTTH) it uses the BT Openreach Fibre To The Cabinet (FTTC) to link into the national broadband network where it doesn't have its own fibre installed. So, if you are getting high speeds with the likes of BT, Vodafone etc. but are still suffering dropouts and buffering at peak times, 1310 should make a difference but only if you are in an area where they have their own fibre to the exchange. Where it definitely will improve things is if you are a long way from the cabinet that supplies your telephone/broadband and your line speed is very slow. Then having fibre for the "last mile" will make a big difference to your raw line speed.

Hi Christopher. You are only partially correct in your assesment here, but there are some important corrections that I need to make:

1. We only use Openreach FTTC where we are unable to provide our own fibre or Openreach FTTP AND where we are in the local exchange.
2. We use Openreach FTTP where we are in the local exchange or we use Zen Wholesale FTTP for national coverage.
3. For areas where we provide our own fibre, we do not use Openreach FTTC or FTTP at all. It is entirely on our own network.
4. FTTP is never backhauled via FTTC, that is simply untrue.

I suspect you may have received some marketing from us to have found yourself doing homework on us. Please do give us a call on 0333 300 1310 and we'll gladly explain the entirety of the network to your particular location so you can form a complete opinion.

Good communication from Matt

Good communication from Matt, had an issue applying a promo at first but got this sorted out quickly via email. Installation was quick & speeds have been great, get around 340mb speed on the 550 package via wifi, noticed the occasional drop to the mid 100’s but this doesn’t seem to last long and is understandable. All around great service and very happy!

8 days no internet

Been a customer for few years and have drop outs from time to time then a few weeks ago went down totally and no phone signal at business location. Called office twice per day left messages and also filled ticket in the portal but no reply and and took 8 days to restore.

BT & Virgin wouldn't install broadband for us, but ....

We tried to get BT or Virgin to supply us with broadband but they would not (too difficult to install due to siting of our property), then found out about 1310. They installed broadband without a problem. Matt (the engineer) did the work in a couple of hours and we were connected. No more buffering or freezing - thank you.
