not received day 2 or 8 / call 119 for free replacement test

I have not received my day 2 or day 8, now on day 8. Tried to call 3 times and gave up after 50 mins of being on hold. If you call 119 you can order a free test if it’s 48 hours after day 2 or day 8 when the test should have arrived. Annoying I could not book the day 8 when I got the replacement day 2 on day 4 so effectively means you can’t order until day 10 so likely won’t get results until day 13/14 but at-least you don’t have to pay twice.

its second bad follow up review

its second bad follow up review. Ordered on 27 August paid £198 for 2 kits. No sign of kits, no refund, no response to emails, no response on phone, sent fake royal mail tracking number which doesn't exist according to royal mail. please please avoid at all costs. i need my refund asap!

appalling

appalling. did the day five test to release at home, mailed it around 9am, it reached them following morning day 6 at 9am. and I got the results at the end of day 8, past 5pm. all this for 100 quid.
they were supposed to deliver "within 12 hours".
avoid at all cost.

Too long getting results

I posted my test on 2nd and on 3rd checked royal may tracking which said it had been received at 8:50am. It is now the 5th and I have nothing back, it is over 50 hours since the royal mail delivered it. They say to use Track a Test app if you have no results and I have done that it says sample not received at lab which I guess means they have not scanned the box in and it is still lying in the to be processed pile. My test is a two day test so it not that urgent to get the result although if I test positive it means I am walking around spreading covid. But if they have not scanned my test box they do not know if it urgent or not, if it was a five day or 8 day test It would mean I have to spend extra days isolating. I am doubtful I will get results today which means it will be over 72 hours since they recived my test. Be warned you may have to isolate several days longer than expected.

It is 11:28 in the morning and the site…

It is 11:28 in the morning and the site says the “cheap” product I need is out of stock. It will be apparently available at 8am the next morning . After a year and a half of a pandemic and everything revolving around tests and money for traveling they are saying they are out of stock , when this is what they do , just for you to buy the more expensive product ! It’s a scam ! Avoid!

Quick and efficient service

Quick and efficient service, just as expected, would certainly use again. Jason was very helpful.
Not sure why there are so many poor reviews; people don’t seem to understand that post is delayed at the weekend

This is the worst company

This is the worst company , never buy with them , day 2 and 8 standard saying out of stock ,checked next day 08:01 am as they saying they replenish stock at 8 am ,
company they were still out of stock, after 20 seconds bought day 2 and 8 express and they were available straight away as the express ones cost much more , awful customer service and company never buy with them , scammers.

I paid £89 for a day 2 and 8 test kit wich said u will get the results in 24hours and the results for day 2 was 4 days late and for day 8 I have send the kit on 26 August and im still waitting for results wich probably I will get next month just waste of money to get them for a quicker results..people don't get brainwashed from this company about lies of getting results quicker and buying the expensive ones..

Hello, I am trying to find a contacts on the website but nothing. I added 2 day 2 and day 8 swabs for 24.99 plus 15 shipping, added all the info and then it said it was out of stock when I had already added them to the cart!!! This is not fair. Can I please have an answer

I can confirm that they were restocked at 8am this morning, we are a small family business and must limit the quantity of all products we sell in order to carefully control our stock so we are able to keep up with demand and ensure all our customers receive a good service. Unfortunately, our standard products sell out a lot faster than the others however, I have just checked our system and also our Day 2 Express are also depleted. We have checked with our team and will be able to re-stock our capacity after 12pm. We apologize for the inconvenience however we must carefully control our stock as per PHE guideline - please reconsider our 1 star review.

After looking at the reviews I was hesitant

After looking at the reviews I was quite hesitant to use 247 as I had to get my results in time so i could return to work. My tests however, were delivered on time and the results were given within a decent timeframe allowing me to return to work. All around pleasant personal experience

AVOID THIS COMPANY!

This is my second, follow-up review because a refund for undelivered day-2 tests promised to me by Jason over the phone on 25.08.21 has never reached my account. NL Clinic that trades under the 247 Hometesting banner still holds £214.97 that I paid on 05.08. Jason failed to give me parcel tracking number which proves that it was never sent. I spent 2 HOURS on the phone today waiting for a representative to speak to, but was cut off in the end. This company is a disgrace but yet it continues to trade. AVOID!
1 star is given only because without it leaving a review isn't possible

10/10 customer service! Super helpful and friendly staff - the employee that helped me was called Nese. She was so polite and helpful, answered all my questions and overall made the experience go so fast and a much easier process.

This is a SCAM!!

Really bad service. Not possible to get in touch as I never received my Day 5 result so I am not able to go to work tomorrow! Tried get in touch by phone and was put on hold and waited 2 hours and was never connected. What a SCAM!!

Because your day 5 was on bank holiday Monday, we didn't receive your sample until the Wednesday and your test results were then released Wednesday night. 247hometesting.com is a FRAUD! They charged me twice no tests or refunds.

i flew from Canada on the 23rd of August booked and paid for my Day 2 and Day 8 with this pathetic excuse of a company. They then proceeded to charge my card twice. They asked what number my card ended in and still havent refunded my money nor contacted me back.

I paid £74.99 including express postage. Just can`t get hold of anyone in this company. I done some research and a quick look on companies house comes up with the following:

It actually works well (...sometimes)

I've been shopping around for day 2 and day 8 tests for a while until I was lucky enough to catch two tests at £24.99 + £15 delivery here, which works out £20 per test. Most of the companies will tell you that £50 per test is the fair price as it is what it costs. 247hometesting is the GOOD example that all of them are selfishly lying and it is actually possible to do tests in reasonable time and charge £20. And that's what it should it cost.

My experience:
- ordered the kit with immediate delivery, received it on the morning of the following day
- day 2 sample received by the lab on Friday 8pm, result on Monday at 1pm
- day 8 sample received by the lab on Saturday at 3pm, result at 8pm of the same Saturday (!!!)
- I had a query along the way which I asked by the email (urgent@...) which was ignored. I phoned up the lab and got a useless response by an annoyed lady.

Hence my summary is: the support exists and it's possible to get hold of someone at NL Clinic, but they are quite unhelpful, otherwise it worked absolutely excellent at the price I was able to get it. I am sincerely sorry for people who pay hundreds of pounds for this service and experience problems, it is unacceptable.

Put a call through to follow-up on my test result. Although I waited for quite a while, Jason who answered the call resolved my issues and as promised, my test results came in time for me to catch my flight.
