30 Day Blog Challenge 

I'm really impressed with how much I was able to accomplish through the 30 Day Blog Challenge. This is a testament to the challenge itself by creating such manageable daily tasks that have a clear application to what I'm doing with my blog. Being encouraged to talk, write, build community and support, and think my way through blog and business plans has been so helpful. The challenge has helped me really see that I have value to offer and that a blog provides a table from which to serve all the different plates I've already been spinning.

This 30-day blog challenge was great in launching myself writing a blog. I have learnt so much and still have much to learn. There was a lot in it and I have had to let a few of the challenges for a future date when I'll be more sure what I want to do with my blog.

I learned A LOT and I am grateful for this experience. Although I got busy this month unexpectedly and was unable to fully engage every day - I still made time to write a little daily and publish blog posts despite my perfectionism brewing internally. Busy-ness WILL happen so I'm actually happy it happened now while I had support and guidance. My confidence grew tremendously thanks to the daily videos and activities. Thank you.

I have enjoyed 30 day blog challenge thoroughly and have learned so much that I know I will continue to do in practice. There were some challenges for sure. However, if you really want something you have to work at your goals to get there and expect challenges. I really think it was worth what I put into it to do and would do it again if I had to.

Overall, I would give the 30 Day Blog Challenge 4 out of 5 stars because there are a lot of technical issues that I encountered, and still fail to understand the remedy or solution. I feel like this 30 Day challenge should really be a 60-day blog challenge or even a 90-day blog challenge. Working full-time and trying to do this can be exhausting, but not entirely the course's fault. I know at this point, I could not have done a better job on my own. But, overall I enjoyed it.

I learned a lot about blogging. And now I am ready to put everything I learned to work. I am confident in my ability to make this blogging life a succès thanks to 30day blog challenge

I found the course in itself, quite helpful. I did struggle with getting Contact to work, and found it a bit hard that the lesson videos to pitched toward bloggers who are blogging "help" sites. As mine is an historical documentary I felt a little overlooked at times.

Great program. I love how it is divided into smaller sections and that if needed you can go back and review. Love how this got me on my feet without breaking my bank account!!

I wanted to blog, but I could never figure out where to start. I tried building a blog many times on free website builders, but nothing ever came out the way I wanted it to. I was too intimidated by WordPress, so I decided that blogging must not be for me. But I was inspired to try again and decided to research website building. And from there, I found the 30DBC and the guidance I needed to finally get this thing off the ground! If you're serious about blogging, I recommend doing the challenge: each day is a different "assignment" that will teach you the ins and outs of blogging. I've gotten ideas that I never would have thought of if I hadn't signed up! This experience has given me the confidence and newfound knowledge to keep going and work towards my goal of making my creative outlet a full-time income.

The 30 Day Blog Challenge has empowered me to help people on another level of service. It has helped me develop a blogging plan, learn how to set up an amazing website, and shown me a plethora of opportunities which are available for monetizing. It has been a simple but yet effective daily challenge to create a successful blog.

This challenge took my blog to the next level! When I first started I had no idea what I was doing. Mostly, I was trying to do all the research and launch a website and maintain content. It was overwhelming for someone with no prior experience. This challenge really helped me line up clear and actionable steps to increase my readership, create content, and design an intuitive website. It essentially took away the research part. Instead of having to self teach, I just had to go do the daily challenge (which in and of itself was a lesson).

The layout of the lessons where easy to follow. Everything was explained well and the collaboration with other bloggers who where just starting out was great.

The 30 day blog challenge gave me the push I needed to start my blog however I wish they would have talked about SEO (and the importance of it from the beginning) and Legal pages. Thank you for getting me set up in the blogging community.

I liked that this provided feedback on some of the blogs and that I was able to get support in setting up a blog and thinking about the blog as I move forward.

The 30 Day Blog Challenge was a realistic way to start a blog, with high quality content and daily tips, videos, and connections. I would recommend it to others who are beginners.

The 30 day blog challenge was such a beneficial experience! We learned how to structure our blog and we’re given helpful tips each day! This challenge has kept us motivated and has created a work ethic that we hope to sustain!

This challenge kept me on track and provided "how to" information (not just "what to do"). I really appreciated the great feedback and support. For anyone who is about to start a blog, this is an excellent way to make it happen.
I had a few issues with the technology for the lessons, otherwise I would rate this as 5 stars.

The instructional videos, especially in the first few days of HOW to create a blog site through BlueHost using WordPress, were extremely simple to follow and the results from following the instructions were amazing!
I so appreciated Lydia Lee's pep talks and perspective on each day's video. I felt secure with her hand-holding throughout the whole 30-day process, and no video was wasted. Surprisingly, each day was beneficial--not just "filler" to be able to call this a "30-day" challenge. I so appreciate that she recognizes I am "a human" that needs encouragement and baby steps.
The daily "challenges" (homework) were productive, useful, and easy to follow, and completing them each day gave me a sense of progress and accomplishment.
The connection to the Discussions forum was also very beneficial. Having Monica review my daily work and respond so positively each day really went a long way for me, personally.
I am really in awe of the comprehensive instruction provided in this free course, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to build a blog!

When I left the review below I was tired and frustrated and should have left constructive criticism. In retrospect I should have pointed out that 30 DBC has a close split 50/50 between 5-star and 1-star reviews. Hey, they're batting .500--in the major leagues that would get you a multi-million dollar contract! Too bad this isn't baseball...I suggest that 30DBC adopts a more honest marketing approach as well as a more helpful and informative response to member's concerns. All of the staffers seem to be very nice and well-intentioned, but they just need a reality check on consumer psychology. Anyway, I previously wrote:

A "free" challenge course? It turned out to primarily be a relentless advertising platform for paid services. That was tiring enough, then when I got to Day 3 and had to click on a link to get a list of blog post titles, it brought up yet another pitch for an enhanced membership, with no way to bypass. I sent a query to the organizer who came back with a completely unhelpful answer about how they can't give away things for "free" anymore, and reassured me that I could still complete the challenge but without any information on how to bypass the stuck sales pitch screen, which was my specific question to begin with. Their offer of a free course is a blatant bait-and-switch ploy. The program might be worth the money, but now I don't trust 30 DBC enough to waste another minute under their marketing barrage.
