Truly thankful!
The nice gal in the videos, plus the daily assignments, are wonderful! Truly! I’m most thankful for this free opportunity. They make me feel comfortable and calm with setting up my website. And a daily dose of brainstorming makes me realize how important it is to make a website that I am excited about every day. I recall being a teenager when the internet first became available for business and there was quite a rush amongst college aged start-ups to compete to be the next big inventors. It was incredibly inspiring to me to ever think I’d have any talent in an area (tho not computers), to discover my opportunities.
Needs a 0 star rating
If you could give 0 stars, that's what I would give the program. The email states if you already have a domain and account set up, it was ok and you just needed to send them your domain/blog name. I did this and was told the course is only for beginner bloggers starting from scratch.
I only recently set up my blog and dont have all the things done they suggest - email list, connecting to other online avenues such as Facebook. Pinterest, Twitter, etc.
All they want is the commissions they get from the initial set up of Bluehost, etc.
I'll look for a reputable company to assist me with growth of my blog; one who is interested in helping people become successful.
I hadn't even gotten started
I hadn't even gotten started. FREE???? ha ha ha, They want you to commit to paying a lot of money out before you even know if you can do it or if you can do it. Free trial. Nope... the cost isn't that much per month and that might be fine, but having to pay over a hundred dollars right out, not good. It may take me a bit, but I can do this on my own. I just thought it would give some in-site, but the truth is, they are just making money off of your dreams and you may not even be successful. Like paying to go to a karaoke bar and then not being allowed to sing, because you can't sing. It's an investment that would be fine if you got past a certain point and realized it was something you were actually good at.
This is a great source for new bloggers
This is a great source for individuals who are new to blogging. When starting this challenge, I only really knew how to write and what I wanted to write. My biggest challenges were mostly technical. While I have not mastered building a website, I have much more knowledge. The course was well designed and slow paced; I did not feel overwhelmed at all. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone. My hope now is that I can start to make some money!
Nice challenge :D
I think my 30 day blog challenge been great. I've got a ton of content and finally thanks to it I got my own blog running. I love the fact this takes things slow and give me one task at a time. But the pace was little bit slow for me and I would've liked an option to get ahead with my tasks if I felt I could do it. But overall, I'm satisfied and it was a successful investment from my part. LOL!! I won't say it made me a blog guru but I know what I'm doing :D And have the satisfaction that I build the entire thing on my own...
Very excited
I had a good feeling when I found out 30dayblogchallenge. I was very skeptical when matt suggested that i start a blog, and i was very afraid of the technical part. I went ahead and started a blog anyway. It cost me less than $50 and i think of it as an investment. Followed his videos and got so much help from his team. I am on day 5 and already learnt so much. Thanks for putting together the course and the community.
Beware!!!!
be careful and know what you are getting into. he has links for you to buy things and has you thinking you will get all you need to do this blog. after spending $126 i didn't have anything. i still needed a domain. i couldn't forward one i had without extra steps but any other time i could just forward my domain from another site. then there are no themes. he has you use ipage which has nothing. they make you think mojo is free. it is free to get to themes you pay for. that is bs. then after you poor money in and find you have no domain, buy a domain - they charge you registration and you still have nothing. ipage is terrible and the customer service is foreign so have fun. forget forwarding a domain. you will end up having to purchase from there, then they charge you $15 registration. obviously he gets money for luring to these products and this turns out to be very price. his 30 day challenge is no doubt there to get you to buy these products for him to make money. it has been days and i haven't had one day of this challenge. he takes at least a day to reply. at first i thought i just lost all this money. now i see when i email him i have to wait a day for a reply. if that reply didn't get you very far......another day waiting for a reply. it has been days and i haven't been able to do anything with this at all.
