I've been training this week with Stuart

I've been training this week with Stuart (Experienced DAS course). I only started biking in July this year and have since picked up several bad habits, so this week has been a reset for me. Stuart has worked with me, giving me exactly the right level of guidance and tuition. Strong direction when needed, more a coaching or suggestive style in other scenarios. I really don't understand some of the other comments below... Bike training isn't magic; you have to put in the work, follow the instructions you're given, and get on with it. If you come away unable to ride, maybe it's not the instructor's fault! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 3CMT. (BTW, passed my MOD1 today... MOD2 tomorrow!)

UPDATE... Passed MOD2 today too!

I have started riding later in life and chose to use 3CMT after being recommended by a family member. The whole Experience was great, from the days CBT course right through the direct access course and finally completing my mod 2 test.
Both Stuart and David have a totally different approach and I felt I needed both to get me through the tests.
If you want to learn how to ride a bike properly then you can’t go far wrong with 3CMT.

Do not book your CBT with 3CMT.

Do not book your CBT with 3CMT. It was a horrible experience, waste of time and money. Bad trainers, aggressive and rude. Trainers wouldn’t give you enough time to have a proper training as they will rush to finish before the neighbouring business starts. Trainer will not be honest with you they will try to make all excuses that it would be your fault. Trainer’s feedback is not instructive. There is no toilets neither access to water to drink during the long training day, I have mentioned this to 3cmt owner and his response was that they are not a café and that they sent me instruction to bring my refreshment and I did not read it however this was not my complaint and he accused me of not reading my emails, you can see what approach he takes if you have any comment. You will spend all training time in a car park not well prepared for CBT training even there is a kabab truck parked and bottle recycle bank at site. Poor training track, no marking, and you have to use your imagination. It is a small business, and they are after your money and you will not see any quality neither customer satisfaction as I think they do not believe in that. 3cmt will not arrange for additional paid appointment to complete your CBT and the paid £175 will be wasted.
I am expecting a rude reply from the owner pointing it is my fault and how was my bike riding is bad as he did this before with pervious reviews, however I am happy to give this feedback to warn others to avoid them being the next victim.

Don't learn with this company

Had a generally unpleasant experience learning to ride with this company through a direct access course. One of the instructors (Dave) is nice (Hence 2 stars and not 1), although once on the road was constantly critical and destroyed my confidence. The other instructor and owner is a right wing, bigoted misogynist, who screams abuse at you through the one way radio when you're riding. I hated every minute I was on the bike with this company. I bought a bike to learn on myself as I had to go through with the course as I'd already paid for it and I'm sure this is the main reason I managed to pass.

I originally booked with 3CMT through a…

I originally booked with 3CMT through a 3rd party booking site. When I got there it hadn't been confirmed with 3CMT (not their fault). What I didn't like was that he spent the next 30mins being negative / nasty about the booking site. If you don't like them, then don't use them.
He then asked about my previous CBT courses, and then started getting extremely negative about them, and there really was no need for this attitude.
I then booked directly with him and unfortunately had to rearrange at short notice due to a medical emergency. I wasn't able to get around to rearranging for quite sometime. I am now out of time and I can't rearrange or get a refund.
Take from that what you will, but he has taken £130 from me and not given me anything other than negative rantings of an angry man.
