amazing EVERYTHING

i normally can't afford a toy like this printer. I usually purchase through Amazon, Wal-Mart, because I have doubts about quality and experience from unknown places. Since, I gave some other off-shore places a chance in the past, I decided to go with 3dprintersbay.com MAINLY because of their great value. I worried the entire time! I read their business rating on sites to check them out. it seemed ok...but, no worries! I could NOT believe the service, quality, and excellent experience i had with them. the package felt like a birthday! WOW. EVERYTHING was good! fast shipping, packing, product, unbeatable price/value! I had a better experience with this company, than i have with other mainstream companies. I will definitely order from them again! They turned my really bad weak, into an awesome 1! CN made it possible for me to enjoy/afford this beautiful, high quality, easy to use and ensemble printer the creality ender5 3d printer. Thank you 3d printers bay!

Photon-s from 3DPrinterBay…

Printer arrived very fast and in good condition. When unpacking was very impressed with the support foam arund the printer to protect it in shipping. The whole experience from purchase to setup felt very professional. I followed the instructions for setup and it was as easy as. I was ready to do my first print but as usual I couldn't wait to try one of my own designs on it so didn't print the cube. I had been reading about the printer whilst waiting for delivery and decided to use ChitiuBox Slicer instead. Loaded up my model, left slicer at defaults for Photon-s, and bingo it worked. Then I scratch the FEP and had to replace with the one that came with printer ( Glad it came ), Followed instructions on box but not sure if I missed it but nothing told me to remove protective film, which is hard to see. so had to do 2 times to remove film. I could not be more impressed with the overall experience and will buy another

Worst Pre-sale experience ever

To date I have yet to even purchase a printer from this company. I have contacted them 3 times over 4 days with pre-purchase shipment questions and I have yet to get a response. HOWEVER I did get a reminder from them that I left the printer in my cart and hey go back and make the purchase please.

This level of pre-sale service is making me reconsider the advisability of purchasing anything from them at any point.

UPDATE:
The company did respond to my 4th contact attempt. However, that response came 1 hour after my initial posting here. Followed 2 hours later by a request to take this review down. In the request to take it down, they cited a SEV1 issue with their incoming (previous word added as a correction) email system. However, a SEV1 issue would have prevented them from responding to me as they would never have even gotten my incoming email.

They also knew that if there was an issue for several days(see second update). IF there was an issue of this severity, they should have posted a notice about it on their contact form page along with a notice to email them directly. This wasn't done.

After getting the response from them and the following up request to remove the this review, I did a little due diligence on this company. They are not BBB accredited. The BBB score of 3dprintersbay.com is an F. The business does not post an accurate address on their website. Additionally, when I located the address on the BBB website, I checked it on Google Maps. One way is a multi-way intersection, the other way is between two houses in a residential area in a small town.

Reddit posters routinely complain about the communication, or total lack there of from the company.When there is an issue with a product they simply refer the one making contact to the vendor, even when the issue is a lack of reply from the vendor. This results in an empty loop of communication.

Everything I have found out about this company leads me to believe they are not to be trusted.

UPDATE TWO:
The vendor in question has reported this post because of "technical issues". Incoming Mail server issues. Yet they got the email I sent them directly.

To state for the record, I am not going to use 3dprintersbay for this purchase based on my experience so far and the research I did during the buying process.

I will correct my first update where I stated that the company knew about the issue for several days prior to contacting me. Based on the email from Andy they did not even identify that their only communication information posted on their website had been broken since sometime early Tuesday morning till after I emailed Friday. They took exception in an email to me that they did not even know to post a notice until after I contact them. This is the correction to that error on my part.

Obviously this vendor will take any approach to removing negative feedback. Reporting bad reviews. In other cases I've come across in my research offering discounts for removal of bad reviews. It has become increadingly obvious that they will take any means necessary to prevent people from voicing their negative experiences about their business.

UPDATE THREE:
I have transferred a copy of this to reddit in the 3D Printing reddit as well as the posting here. A moderator had to manually approve the post due to the ridiculous spam the company has subjected the sub-reddit to in the past. So even if I am forced to take this down due to the “report” the comments will live on and be searchable to everyone.

The latest email I received from them regarding my previous update is filled with techno gibberish about the server having a different email protocol than I do. Since SMTP has been the standard since somewhere in the late 90s, I find that hard to believe. Additionally IMAP and POP are standards that have been around just as long. So I’m more or less convinced that this is just an attempt to deflect a negative review of them to their hosting service. Pretty much in line with my experience so far. Many of the one star reviews on this site also reflect attempts to deflect the issue to some outside agency. I am done with these people and I hope trust pilot does the right thing and leaves this up for others to find. And if they take it down, well... reddit is forever.

First of all, we appreciate your research before purchase and sorry for all the hassle that has gone through between us. We were not misrepresent anything over there with this mail server issue. It is indeed true and I see no point in counter-attacking the issue when we initially conveyed about this. We usually respond to any inquiries within 24 hr. Yes, we have had IMAP POP3 SMTP late 90's all the latest technology but there is always script when comes to the web server when configuring them actually behind the ecomm platform which is where our service failed to collect the data in one port to post. We had to unblock them with the host to fix the issue. This is one-liner I've got from the summary report.
You cannot find one system or enterprise without any issues. It would always be there someway around. We have taken this issue seriously, in fact, we identified with the help of you through outgoing working port. We will ensure it would not repeat again. Our service was not the best previously due to very fewer rules on Monitoring seller activities but certainly, we have been improving the recent years and have enforced strict measures on the seller to provide timely service for the received inquiries and support requests which includes troubleshooting, fix repair and replacements. We sure we will do our best.

I ordered an upgrade kit on 4/22/19

I ordered an upgrade kit on 4/22/19. This was supposed to be delivered by 5/18, but DHL showed that the packages were held up in Germany. They told me to contact the seller if I wanted any more information. When I contacted Printers Bay support they forwarded my inquiry to the vendor in China who was unable or unwilling to escalate my case. The two packages showed up separately about 3 weeks later.
Once received, I required some technical support with the firmware update. Again I was shunted off to a Chinese customer service rep to whom I could ask a question and then wait 24hrs for an answer. It was clear to me that the rep did not understand my question and that this method would take forever. I found that it was easier scouring the web to find an answer than play ping-pong with tech support.

Made me nervous on a $500 order. But was okay.

They had no problem selling me a printer that was on backorder hoping I would be okay with a 45 day delivery. I would have, had I not had a job due in a month. For the average customer, I'm sure it would have been okay. They did refund my order after a review, but not with a support request.

Overall I really enjoy this printer. Arrived on time, simple to use, prints excellent quality, and is very reliable. However, the plastic protective casing is incredibly weak and will almost certainly break with long term use. My memory card also didn't come with any sample prints.

it is sitting, unusable in a corner.... never made it through a single calibration

Kit came with random extra pieces and the PDF instructions that came with the kit were corrupted, so I had to use the youtube videos provided... that wouldn't be so bad but the videos show a different (yet similar kit) that is put together THE WRONG WAY causing HOURS of disassembly and reassembly. The auto-leveling sensor (upgrade from the base unit) was faulty so the extruder pushed down hard into the plate (breaking mounts/pieces, bent rod) before i could power off the unit. After 13 hours putting this kit together, it is sitting, unusable in a corner.... never made it through a single calibration.

The assembly of the printer is not bad…

The assembly of the printer is not bad if you have some experience but i think they should label the motor and the cable for easy connection.The touch sensor for the auto calibration arrived in a separate bag inside the printer box with a resistor and some connectors hardware with no instruction on how to connect and how to mount it on the printer; luckily there is a video on youtube, so you can figure it out the connection and the calibration.
They should improve a LOT on the documentation and have explained also the software settings on the printer.
Overall after the right adjustment it's a good printer and I think can easily compete with the other brand in the market.

Great Printer for the Money, but the seller was okay.

The 3d printer came in 2 weeks after I ordered it, and the build plate upgrade arrived a week later. I love the Ender 5, it's a great printer for the money and the setup was easy. However, what made it confusing is that the upgrade I paid extra for came a week later separately.

Only thing I wish they could improve on is their communication. Like any issue I've seen throughout the community from others, if anything is wrong it's hard to get answer from them. The printer was supposed to be in stock in a warehouse in USA as advertised, but everything I ordered was shipped from China which is why it took so long. On the positive side, taking 2-3 weeks to deliver from China to US is actually pretty good.

Getting tracking information was like pulling teeth. Even though at the end they delivered everything in full and the product is great, they just need to work on better communication to the customer. Even a quick email saying we're working on it, we'll keep you posted is much better than saying nothing.

I was in the market for a first-time 3D…

I was in the market for a first-time 3D printer. I did my research on printers and ended up at 3D Printers Bay Marketplace's website.I bought the Tevo Tornado. If I had questions, I would get responses back in a reasonable amount of time. The experience I had with 3D Printers Bay Marketplace has been great. I would recommend 3D Printers Bay Marketplace to anyone that is interested in buying a 3D printer. When I progressively get more advance in 3D printing, I will come back to 3D Printers Bay Marketplace to purches my next 3D printer.
