I have a good relationship with their representative and so picking up and drop off from a railway station for me is convenient, especially as I live on the Isle of White.

From the moment I contacted the rental company in London, I knew I had made the right decision. I was looking for a hassle-free experience, and that’s exactly what I received. I opted for a robust Land Rover Defender, a vehicle that promised adventure and did not disappoint.

The customer service was exceptional, particularly I want to highlight David, whose professionalism and courtesy went beyond my expectations. From delivery to return, each interaction was flawless, efficient, and personalized as they brought the vehicle to the airport just minutes after my plane landed. I maintained a smooth conversation with David throughout the process; it was my first time driving on the left side in London, and David provided me with a lot of security with his words. David made sure that all aspects of the rental were clear and straightforward, and his recommendations on handling the vehicle on different terrains were invaluable.

The vehicle itself was in perfect condition. Thoroughly cleaned and ready for the road, the Land Rover Defender handled every challenge with ease, from urban streets to the most demanding rural paths. The return was just as simple, with a quick process and no last-minute surprises.

In summary, my experience was magnificent. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality vehicle rental service in London. If you’re looking for a reliable service and a capable vehicle.

After hiring from different companies over the last 7 years on our annual trip back to the uk. I wish I found 4x4 Vehicle Hire years ago. The meet and greet at the airport is a god send when you have young kids and endless luggage. On arrival our driver was waiting for us and took us straight to the Range Rover Vogue we hired and were guaranteed. Whilst we were sorting the kids out the driver to our surprise went and paid for the car parking ticket and we were on our way. On return of the vehicle the driver messaged us to let us know exactly where we can meet him, and the return of the vehicle took less the 3 minutes. I have hired from the big companies at the airport and we have to normally wait for someone to be at the rental desk and then trying to find the car is like a needle in a haystack. 4x4 for my family and I are the company to go to every time we return home.

Hirer a car to take family to France for partner birthday. Transaction was smooth. Very friendly and great customer service and efficient. Would recommend.

I live in Dubai, so always need a 4x4 when I’m visiting the UK. Each and Everytime 4x4 Vehicle Hire are my go to company, and they have never let me down. Looking forward to my next pickup in July!

Used them for a short staycation in the Peak District. Land Rover Discovery was a gem to drive, brilliant service all round. Drop off and pick up was exceptional and communication was great.

Utterly terrible experience. ridiculous owner acts extremely unethical and unprofessional. company uses fake information to scam people out of your money- be aware.

I had hired a car for a family event. One of the tyres had been punctured and I rang them for help. I rang the head office and they also hadn’t helped but they still charged me full price. I had to break into my own pockets to repair the tyre and my deposit was also taken.

I hired a car for an event. I got pulled over by police. The had explained to me that my insurance wasn’t genuine. I rang up the company and they had denied the allegations. The police threatened to fine me personally. This was a very stressful situation and I am still scarred by this. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It was my brothers wedding and I hired a car and they cancelled on me last minute as I had booked 3 months prior I was absolutely outraged by the customer service I have received as I was also not offered a alternative vehicle as I was also in desperate need as it had been meant to be his dream wedding which now this experience has ruined it all for him and our family

I am utterly dismayed by my experience with this vehicle rental company, and I feel compelled to warn others against using their services. From the outset, they took my deposit without any valid explanation, leaving me feeling cheated and deceived. The insurance they provided was nothing short of dubious, offering no coverage and leaving me vulnerable in the event of an accident. To add insult to injury, upon returning the vehicle, I was shocked to discover that I was being charged for damages that clearly existed prior to my rental. It's abundantly clear that this company lacks integrity and is willing to take advantage of unsuspecting customers for their own gain.

Do not recommend at all!! My interactions with them were less than satisfactory. They mishandled my deposit, provided inadequate insurance coverage, and failed to conduct proper license checks. Additionally, I was billed for damages that existed prior to my rental, and the vehicle I received was not well-maintained. Overall, I was disappointed with the level of service they offered.

This COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A LIE AND A SCAM , their franchises are nothing but a complete lie . They have no control over the franchisees and don’t oversee anything . The reputation of 4x4 is a complete waste and tarnished . I’ve hired one from their franchisee and never received my deposit I made contact with the main office and the of the company didn’t even try to help and this genuinely has ruined my experience to ever hire. A car again

If i could give this company lower then 1 star BELIVE ME I WOULD . This company has been nothing but a hastle especially the director . Who is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL . He doesnt know how to run a business nor does he respect his customers. Riaz the director is a fraudster and a crook. He definitely deserves to be shut down and reported to the BVRLA AND FCA . This guy runs a company with cars on PCP CONTRACTS , fake insurance that isnt self drive and charges his customers for damage that is already on the car PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SUCH A VILE COMPANY

Avoid at all costs..
most unprofessional company to get a car from. They take your deposit and don’t get back to you. They give out damaged cars and have the worst customer service. They do not sort out legit insurance and are nothing but a scam
