"PBBJ" What an AMAZING burger!

I needed something to eat, so dropped randomly into 7Bone in Portsmouth. I asked the lady behind the counter what she recommended and she pointed me towards the "PBBJ".....

A double burger with bacon, miso peanut butter, chilli jam and crispy onions!

I like all the ingredients, but together it was honestly one of the best burgers I've eaten in years, the burgers tasted really meaty, the bacon was super thin and properly fried, the bun was perfect, and the peanut and chilli jam was a great combo!

Definitely a 5-Star rating from me!

I am a fair person with my reviews and…

I am a fair person with my reviews and so I write this as factual.
I always judge a company on how they deal with things when they go wrong.

Over the last 5/6 months there has been around £350 spent at 7bone via my deliveroo app (friends, family wanting to order etc).

This week my pensioner parents wanted to treat the family and went off of my recommendation of 7bone.
Unfortunately it went a bit wrong.
The food took nearly 2 hours to arrive (give or take 10 mins), the chips were cold and the burgers luke warm at best.
Not happy.
Deliveroo are a waste of time so I emailed 7bone.

Though they accepted the email the response wasn't quite what I was expecting.
Though apologetic and they admitted the food should have been remade- it wasn't.
Deliveroo were blamed over drivers not wanting the delivery.

None of this is my problem to be honest, it's a 7bone and deliveroo problem.

They are offering to deliver 8 miles away then when you complain its cold the attitude is almost "well your 8 miles away".
Don't offer a service if you can't meet it.

With the custom that has been put through them via myself there was no offers to rectify it, reimburse me or offer a solution just they hope I will return.

Quick enough to take your money, not quick enough to resolve an issue.

When the food is good here, it's good but after this shambles I can tell you I am reluctant to return and im fuming my parents have spent their pension money to be basically fobbed off.

Food was exceptionally greasy and…

Food was exceptionally greasy and salty. I know to expect a certain level of both with this kind of food but it was excessive on both counts. On the plus side, the wings were a decent size and tender, albeit sickeningly greasy.

7 Bones Walthamstow

7 Bones Walthamstow, never again. I ordered a few times via deliveroo because of their vegan burgers. A couple of weeks ago my parents liked the look of chicken wings based on blue cheese cause and the garlic and herb. The food came but with no sauces. Like pasta and no sauce. I complained and got the sauces refunded for £1.80 - the chicken wings were dry and bland and were thrown out. Appalling, so I will never use deliveroo or order from 7bones again. Very disappointed, with my confidence at a loss. I would spend at minimum £100 per week on deliveroo, their loss ! I have now moved over to ubereats. Never again

Great food but order fail @ Newbury

Tasty food. Orders appear to be online only-great, as long as there's not a disconnect between product availability and the store. We were charged for something that couldn't be fulfilled (ice cream milkshake) and never got the right amount refunded-the store couldn't do that, we had to faff about with emails and a head office.
That said, we went back because of the food and welcome. The burgers were fairly small, but densely packed and very tasty.

Ordered food first time but got very…

Ordered food first time but got very disappointed 😞 I placed the order at 8pm after 30 mins it said they cannot find a rider then around 9.15pm I got notification saying rider left because my order wasn't ready for pick up. Then I receive another notification around 9.30 pm that finally they have found a rider and our delivery will be approximately 15mins so it was a relief but when I received my order food was cold and chips were hard rock. I am very disappointed will never order food from here ever again.

Food arriving cold…

I’ve ordered from here before and food has arrived hot and had no problems.
This is the second time I’ve ordered and on both occasions the food has arrived cold.
Contacted the company and all they could say is the food is kept in a hot plate.
They also said that the riders have insulated bag and when confronted about the food not being kept warm they just kept saying the bag keeps the food warm.
I certainly will not be going here again

We walked out!

Having been to 7 bone numerous time, I can say I will never go back to the Portsmouth branch again! The customer service was horrendous. The bald waiter (I didn’t get his name) was so incredibly rude, disrespectful and belittling so much so we left. This was due to politely requesting we order through a person instead of online!

Terrible Bad Value for Money

Great Reviews I now find hard to believe this to be true after tasting all recommended from their menu - burgers were tasteless - buns were not fresh - chips were reheated as hard and went cold very quickly . I would NOT waste your money . Very disappointing experience

Overatted and Underwhelming

My son and I Visited the southsea outlet and our experience was this Burger was the size of a Happy meal burger served with a massive portion of fries to make up for the miniscule burger. They where dirty oil cooked. My sone ordered the cheeseburger Taco ×3 they where a joke and so small the waitresses looked dowdy on the whole the food wasn't terrible it just wasn't mind blowing as it is made out to be oh and the no glass with ice or a straw offered just multipack cans

Very, very poor experience

In April this year I raised an issue with 7Bone Northampton as shown below. Despite chasing I have not received any reponse. I would not recommend 7Bone as the food is very hit and miss and their customer service is non-existent when there is a problem.

I placed the above order on Saturday and when I arrived home less than 15 minutes after picking it up, I opened the order to check the contents and found two issues.

1. Although the e-mail that was created and attached clearly states I ordered - 1× dirty lies (v/vg) - dirty spread, iceberg lettuce, facon, the order contained Chilli Lies as you can see from the attached image of the receipt. This was extremely disappointing for my daughter as she can’t eat chillies and was really looking forward to the fries she had ordered. The order was to celebrate her birthday which made it more frustrating.

2. When we tasted the food, the meals were all cold and we had to reheat in the oven which obviously isn’t great for a burger as the buns went very dry and were not as tasty as they should be.

This is the second time someone from family has had their birthday meal spoilt by a poor experience from 7Bone. The first time we were willing to give the benefit of the doubt that it was just unfortunate and accept the refund and voucher for 40% off an eat-in meal. This time it may take a bit more to restore my faith in 7Bone. To be fair the problems have only occurred with take-away food, and we have had very pleasant dining experiences when eating in.

Never again

Looks unreal til you take a bite to realise they leave a paper wrapper on the burger Wich I then ingested

Portsmouth Branch - good food & hard working staff

Portsmouth Branch. I am not a burger fan and we had to find somewhere near the New Theatre Royal to eat. The food actually does look like the pictures, waitresses and kitchen staff works their butts off. This was a Wednesday and fairly early but they fairly full and online orders were making sure they never stopped. Credit to the staff.
Not a fan of the design of the menu, or the plastic chip basket.
The portion of fries was massive and if I visit again (we don't live near) I would split one. The selection of toppings was great. Husband had a burger and the reason this is a 4 is that he felt it was undercooked and said if I had given him that at home he would have asked me to cook it more. Other than that it was great. So perhaps as this is a common comment it might be sensible to be able to ask for it cooked more?
