Ive always fouind 99 Bikes have compeititve prices and you save on postage. I check their stock levels and prices first before any purchase.

Sold me wrong size bike and won't refund

Website offers free professional bike fit when you buy a bike, but didn't get anything like this, find out bike is too small and then they refuse to refund me without charging for a full service, because the bike cable popped out for no reason.

The ordering process

The ordering process, and notification of availability to collect from my local 99Bikes store was great. I then collected my product and the service in-store was fantastic. But, I got my product home and realised that something was wrong with it (it was the correct product) and that it wouldn’t allow me to attach my front light as it should.
I messaged the local 99Bikes store and advised them, and asked could I exchange it for another of the same product as this one seemed faulty, and I haven’t heard back from them. I sent my message 3-4 weeks ago, so pretty poor response from 99Bikes at Brookvale…

Still No Bike

I ordered my son's bike on Jan 8th. It was in stock. Paid extra for delivery. It was supposed to be "Hand delivered by our Brookvale store". Contacted customer service twice to find out where the bike is. My bike still has not arrived 7 weeks later! As long as my you know what points to the ground I will never buy anything from 99 bikes again! If I could rate them zero stars I would!

Workshop Team friendly and helpful when my bike was serviced. JT in particular
First time I had taken my ebike in and the full service/diagnostic process and results were explained in detail.

uzzrack Buzzybee 4H Platform 4 Bike Hitch Rack

We purchased a bike rack (Buzzrack Buzzybee 4H Platform 4 Bike Hitch Rack) for a road trip and it did not fit in our standard hitch tow bar fitting. Eventualy we were able to force it in, but it then got stuck and cannot be removed. We were unable to use the bike rack as a result and couldn't take our bikes on the trip. Subsequent investigatoin shows this has happended to other people who purchased this product, but 99 Bikes continue to sell it.

Poor service

Luckily we had done our research and had a pretty good idea of what we wanted because the salesman new less than us. I purchased a bike after a test drive and once home realised is was missing a few bits that held the mud guard on. I called the store with little help but was asked to photograph and email missing part which I did. After 4 phone calls, 2 email. My husband going into the store nothing has happened. They have never got back to us. The reason we went to 99 bikes was the fabulous service we experienced at 99 bikes Canberra. Brookvale was the complete opposite.
