I think this is a scam.
I cannot talk to an actual doctor. I've been seeing a weight loss specialist for 2 years, and now NOTHING is being covered as my health care / insurance provider has decided this service is better. It's all "automated virtual AI chat" - I cannot get direct answers to any questions. The fancy scale they sent me does NOT work (it is not calibrated correctly, and has weights listed for me FROM BEFORE I EVEN GOT THE SCALE = SCAM). They've ordered lab work that I get routinely from my regular doctor. It's basically holding my prescription "hostage" while they collect $$ from my insurance. I'm just about ready to order what I need from Ro as it will likely be cheaper and faster to deal with. DO NOT USE IF YOU CAN HELP IT - go to an outside site to get the meds and find a local weight loss doctor who 1) actually has an accurate scale and 2) will discuss options and answer questions. This service is a SCAM - and I'm trying to figure out where/how to report it!

The whole experience has been great. I've gotten SO many tips, tricks, advice and options and everything is working so well.

Make this experience great is working with an actual doctor and having check ins. Also being able to go back in re-review information shared by the app. I’ve been with two other programs in the past supported by my insurance, but I had no interaction with anyone so I was on my own. I’m not on my own here. It’s nice to have doctors that check up on you.

Finally free from that weight I have been collecting for years! So easy and supportive.

They are awful. How can a virtual clinic tell me what is best for me when they have never evaluated me before?? My doctor sent a prescription in for me and my insurance is now using this program and they have to now send the prescription to my pharmacy. They take forever to get back to you and now it is possible I will miss the next dosage of my medicine because they have not sent my prescription to the pharmacy. I pay my premium and did not ask for this. It is just awful.

The structure, the articles and the steps was really thought out. I enjoyed how easy the app is. How easy was to make an appointment, read articles. When I needed help, it was easy and fast to get help via chat.

I absolutely love this program. I started with them a year ago. I’ve had the same staff the whole time, and I love that. My counselor, I guess that’s what you call her. She’s amazing. She remembers our previous conversations, she gives tips and advice and cheers me on for my wins and tries to keep me motivated when I have my downs.
The app is very user friendly. The weekly modules are nice. Everything from teaching you about different ways of eating, exercising, sleeping better, to stress management tips.
9am is truly an amazing health program.

Working with 9am has been great. They are there when I ask questions and responsive to any needs I may have.

This is a great, low pressure app. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel that because I’m overweight without health issues, I’m left to my own devices as far as diet and exercise go. If your bloodwork is off, you probably get more assistance. However, I still love all the thoughtful articles and goal planning on the app. The team is not there to make you feel bad or guilty about what you’re doing or not doing, but rather motivated and learning at your own pace. 9 am has the perfect balance of teaching and giving time to process the new information in a way that slowly changes the way weight, food, and exercise are viewed. 9 am has made me feel like a better version of myself overall, one where every small change matters and my health is the most important.

Taking the care out of the process. AI is not a doctor and that’s all this is. I never get a response to messages. I’m doing all the labs with my doctor every 6m and now they want the same ones repeated, at my expense. Today, I’m told I’ll be receiving a cellular connected scale. Nope! I’ve been on my med for PCOS for 3 years. I’ve been successful. If I have to find an alternative to avoid this mess, I’ll be doing that.

This site is awful, very buggy and you can never get someone to answer you. I have been out of my prescription for a month and have tried calling, emailing and messaging. I have gotten no response. I dont understand how this can be ok.

I cannot recommend this app at all. Every time I try to log in, it just shows a spinning wheel and never loads. It’s completely unusable.

I also tried reaching out to customer support and tech support multiple times, on different days and at different times, but no one ever answered. When I finally did get through, the staff seemed unfamiliar with the app and were of no help at all.

The company clearly lacks proper support, and the app itself doesn’t work. Extremely frustrating and disappointing

I unfortunately have gotten trapped in the hell hole called 9AM Health. I have been without my GLP-1 medication for three weeks now because each day they piecemeal an new piece of information they need before they can call in my prescription. I have done everything they have asked but now I am playing the game of waiting to see how many days will it be before anyone responds. This has been the worse experience that I have ever had. If the system or structure of this merger cannot handle the new client caseloads they inherited then they should have left people alone and allowed them to continue with their trusted medical professionals.

My experience has gone from bad to worse. They never answer the phone; it's always busy. Messages aren't returned, so it's like communicating in a vacuum. I had an appointment with one of their doctors that lasted less than five minutes; he knew nothing about my medical history and quickly said I needed to speak with an endocrinologist. I have been trapped in this loop of substandard care for almost six weeks, and I still do not have approval for the medication that my actual Dr. prescribed for me. The SHBP needs to drop this company; they have no interest in providing real healthcare.
