Booked several taxi trips over the last week or so while my car was being repaired. Always punctual with polite and smart drivers, and very reasonably priced. Cannot fault their service.

I have had a very disappointing experience with Eden cars so much so I would not use them. Having been travelling to London for over 20 years I am familiar with pricing. I just got charged £95 from Esher to Heathrow because I booked a bigger car. Firstly, I didn’t select the car, second on I have traveled into London with three people and 5 large bags for £68. As a customer you feel robbed given the excessive pricing and they argue it is the car. Eden’s pricing is extortionate and quite frankly a rip off. If you need to use a car hire firm try Surbiton or ClockTower Cars. They are much more reasonable.

I had a great experience with A1 and Eden Cars. I was late from my work, Eden Cars sent me a prompt car. The driver was so professional. Actually, Eden Cars have a nice cars. They even sent me a Tesla for my local journey.

I was one of the passengers on journey to Royal Albert Hall on 17 June. I’m very sorry to read A1andedencars’ response to our complaint about the last minute price increase. Very unprofessional which sums up this company. Do not use!

We were quoted a price for a return trip .. 2 hrs prior to being picked up .. company called and increased the price ! Outrageous…and what could we do with only 2 hours ..as it was for 8 travelling up to London and back … not good enough

I was one of the group of 8 ladies who used your taxi services on 17th June to the Albert Hall and back to Cobham and as previously stated we were charged an additional fee of £68 at short notice having prebooked and prepaid for our trip. A refund was offered of the original charge two hours before departure but there was little we could do but accept the increase at such short notice , we did say at the time we were very unhappy at the situation and would be saying so
In our reviews .I suggest people are wary of using this company in case the same happens to them . Our reviews are genuine and we have evidence of our booking and the charge .

I'm shocked that legitimate poor reviews of this company are not treated as an opportunity to improve but rather treated as fake.

I have been using A1 & Eden Cars for many years now. I have always find them very reliable prompt and friendly people. I have always used them for my airport runs.
Are you always trust them for my pre-bookings. The cars are always clean and tidy. The check my flight if there is any delays so I don’t have to pay any extra waiting time at my airport journey. I would definitely recommend it to everyone do use their service.

Price inflated at the 11th hour - this is not a fake review - I paid £39 as part of my share for the group booking to London on 17th June 2023 - see my original review and the other honest reviews on Yell!!

Where do I start? I found A1 and Eden Cars, Weybridge via Google when looking for prices for a minibus to take 8 ladies to the Royal Albert Hall. I used their online service to give me a quote. When I came to the actual booking page, the price went up, but I still proceeded with the booking, and paid by credit card, as the price was similar to other companies I'd researched. I called Eden Cars the day before the journey to confirm everything, and was told everything was fine and booked. I then received a call 2 hours before pick-up to say that the price I had paid was wrong (due to their payment system not working properly), and they needed to add another £68 to the return journey. They gave me the choice of accepting, or a refund. Obviously, due to the limited time available, I had to accept, albeit grudgingly. Upon pick-up, the driver asked where we were going (details were in the booking). He had no idea how to get to Royal Albert Hall, and asked where it was and what road it was on. He was quite rude and grumpy. The vehicle was grubby and dirty. After the return journey the driver used my credit card to charge the extra £68 but then added a £1 transaction fee, which I refused to pay. The process overall was completely unprofessional. I feel that they should have honoured the quote/payment I had made with them - and the contract they had formed with me - rather than insist I pay extra. Naturally, I will not be using them again.
05.07.23 - Further to their reply from yesterday, I can completely assure everyone that this is a genuine review. There were 8 passengers on this minibus (all respectable ladies), and they were all disgusted with your service and attitude. So I expect there will be other reviews posted online along the same vein. A1 and Eden Cars - I have credit card statements confirming my booking with you, along with emails from you, confirming my booking - if you wish to take this further. I think your response to this review just highlights what sort of operation you run, hence our recommendation that others avoid booking with you.
It's very interesting that 2 x 5* reviews have been posted within hours of these legitimate poor reviews! I wonder how real those 5* reviews are??
